I do not believe Kurds should be Muslim
This might be controversial, but I feel it is important to talk about.
I don’t believe Kurds should be Muslim, not once has our faith been in our favor yet our occupiers love to scream out ”Muslim brotherhood” when it suits them. We get killed in our own land by Muslims, occupied by Muslims, silenced by Muslims, we have no right to determination by Muslims. All Islam has done for us is make us blend with Arab traditions and norms. We claim to be tolerant but I see more and more of our women covering up and our men being sexist and misogynistic. What happened to jin, jiyan, azadi? This does not even exist in Islam, this is the Kurdish way. We are tolerant, we do not fall for islamism and it’s radical propaganda. Unfortunately because of Islam and corruption, there’s been an influx of Arabs in KRG, and now we’re building the worlds largest mosque, for WHOM? Kurdish people can barely get jobs, people flee Kurdistan for a better life, kids are begging on the streets, animals starving, no adequate infrastructure in many parts of Kurdistan, and still no unity between our people. Yet, we’re concerned with Islam, Arabism, Wahhabism, retardation. I’ve seen so many Kurdish women, dressing like Arabs and speaking Arabic saying that Kurds should not live like westerners because that makes them kafir. What the hell is this mindset? This is why we will never evolve, we are STUCK in this mindset and we continue to go backwards, we will never be united as long as Islam and arabization has us wrapped around their finger.
