Medicine in Padova

Hey everyone!

I am a non-EU student considering pre-enrollment in Padova University for Medicine. I heard they moved the course to Venice. Is it really that bad? Can I still use the Padova University facilities (i.e. dorms, libraries, clubs) and is it viable for me to live in Padova and commute to Venice everyday?

If the cons outweigh the pros, what other unis do you recommend? The others I am looking at either don't have many seats or the IMAT cutoffs seem very high

Studying Medicine

Hey everyone!

I started IMAT prep a few weeks ago and am progressing well with the Biology and Chemistry content. Currently I am using my own A level books and notes (Pearson Edexcel International), and IMAT and TOLC past papers. Are there any additional resources anyone would recommend? I saw someone recommend TestBusters on another post and will consider looking into it. I am also considering AlphaTest, however the 1200 and the 1300 quiz were published before the switch from Cambridge, so can I keep using it? Especially since some of the questions seem above the level to which I studied in A level. Is that the level I should expect for the IMAT exam?

I also had a few questions about the university selection, I have not pre-enrolled yet. What university do you guys recommend based on:
-Competitiveness, Cutoffs
-City Life
-English Speaking Population
-Campus and Hospital

I apologize for the many questions because I still am sort of clueless about all this.
Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to mention: I am a non-EU student

Clearing

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if there was any chance for me to get into any UK uni for clearing this year as an international student. I am aware the chances are near zero but I was curious anyway.

For context:

UCAT: 2450 B2
GCSEs: 999987665

A Levels: AAA predicted, but AAB likely- Bio, Chem, Phy

I was also wondering if unis will take the current situation in the middle east as reason enough to accept the AAB? I was not able to write exams this year due to the cancellation. This question applies to reapplication too, since I won't be able to resit in time.

Even reapplication is only my plan B, since it's a nightmare to go through the whole UCAS process all over again. Right now I'm mostly focused on the IMAT.

Thanks!
