Did you bring your toddler to your I-485 interview?

We have our marriage-based I-485 interview coming up soon, and our attorney advised us not to bring our 3-year-old son if possible.

I'm a little surprised because he's our child and part of our family-based application. The challenge is that our interview is scheduled very early in the morning, making it difficult to drop him off at daycare or arrange childcare.

For parents who brought their young children to the interview:

- How was your experience?

- Did USCIS allow children in without any issues?

- Did the officer interact with your child at all?

- Would you recommend bringing a toddler, or is it better to arrange childcare?

I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Been waiting for my I-485 approval since July 2023 (Priority Date) - F2A spouse of LPR.

Anyone else in the same boat?
