I cut my hair short and now have a bunch of hair accessories I can't use but don't exactly want to get rid of

What it says on the tin.

I have a bunch of haor ties/scrunchies that I don't have the hair for anymore but don't want to get rid of. I've downsized the collection before, but they still take up a lot of space in the drawer. I don't even know if I want to let my hair grow out again, because I prefer it shorter.

What do I do with them? I don't need them, I have no use for them...but what if???

Finally got some postcards, so I got to start postcrossing today!

These are going out Monday!!!

I found a bunch of vintage postcards at an antique store today, and I spent wayyy too long sorting through them. They were 3 for $1, so I may have gotten 69 postcards oopsie :D

I had a lot of fun writing, and it was really relaxing. I had a really disconnected teenage and earlier young adult years, so sitting down and writing to other humans was quite nice, and easier than initially expected.

Heading to Taiwan, Netherlands, France, US and Germany. 💜💜💜 I'm so excited! :)))

What do I wear to the interview

Hi everyone!

Just got an interview for a para position at a nearby high school tomorrow morning. I'm not entirely sure what to wear to it. Especially because I'll be heading back to my current job immediately after. I'm a school bus monitor for special needs kids, so my typical attire for summer is a t-shirt and knee length shorts.

I've had 3 jobs before, and both times I dressed super casual to the interviews (sweater/jeans or plain short sleeved shirt and jean shorts, depending on season) and immediately gotten the job after a very short interview. This is my first time interviewing in person for a full time job and I'm nervous 🥺

Thanks!

I tried alcohol for the first time and feel disappointed??

I'm 25 and tried alcohol for the first time on the fourth of July (goooo America!! /s). I feel disappointed. It was gross (expected it), and it took me 2 hours to finish 1 because it was so bad. I was sipping water between every sip of alcohol. At no point did I feel drunk or relaxed. I felt tired (but most likely that was just because it was late), and maybe a bit wobbly, but not stumbling or slurring my speech. I did have trouble falling asleep, but that could have just been because it was hot. I was really sad for 3 days after, but the weather was also garbage those days after. So I really can't tell if it was the alcohol.

I think the important thing to note is that at no point did I actually want more alcohol. I didn't even finish one after 2 hours. I was really only still drinking because I had paid for the can, not because I wanted it.

I feel disappointed. Probably because I'm used to seeing people getting into violent screaming matches that often escalate to physical violence after drinking. I think that's what I was expecting, and that's not what it was at all. Part of me feels relief from that.

I have very little desire to try alcohol again. Not soon.

...So what do I text people?

I've been going out and doing things and meeting people for a few months now, and I've gotten to the point where people trust me with their phone numbers. The only thing is, I get their number, and then we never text??? I read online that saying "hi" is annoying but that's all I've got for an opener.
