I’m looking to purchase a standalone OBD reader that can put the rear brakes into service mode, register/program a 12V battery, and read fault codes. I tried BimmerLink, but I don’t want to have to connect it to my phone. I’m just looking for a simple standalone tool that can handle those functions. I’m not looking to do any custom coding. Thank you.
I have Innova 5160R but when I tried to put brakes in service mode it said “feature not available”
There is no vibration in steering and brakes appear to work good, but I do hear slight grinding from rear brake when braking. The pads seem to have good amount of thickness and there is no light on dashboard. How do these pads look? 39k miles xdrive 40i
I’ve seen quite a few posts and comments about RDU failures. Ours isn’t showing any grinding or unusual noise, but I’m starting to get concerned since we’re around 73K miles and I’ve seen several people report failures at much lower mileage.
Clean CARFAX. It appears to be the base trim. The base price is $41K, mileage 47K miles, plus tax and documentation fees. Does this seem like a good deal? Black color.
Hi everyone! I'm looking to see if anyone is considering selling their 2024 X5. I'm looking for an AWD model and would prefer black, white, or gray, though I'm open to other colors as well. A base model is perfectly fine, and my budget is $40,000–$45,000. If you have one or know of one that might be available, please let me know. Thanks!
2021 Badlands with about 70,000 miles. The vehicle starts normally but won't shift into Drive. I purchased it as a certified used vehicle about 6 months ago and haven't had a single issue with it until now.
It looks like I'll need to have it towed to the dealer, which is frustrating because this seems like a very unusual problem. Has anyone experienced something similar or know what might cause it?
Any private owners out there looking to sell? I am in Michigan, willing to travel. Looking for a clean maintained SUV.
I’m considering buying a 2023 BMW X5 xDrive40i for my wife. I’ve handled all the maintenance on our vehicles for the past 25 years, but I’ve never owned a BMW or any European car. I’m curious what kind of routine or common maintenance this model requires—especially anything that typically needs to be done by a dealer rather than at home. I’ve heard maintenance can be expensive, so I’d really appreciate some examples of what to expect.
