Carleton Parents FB group

I'm a parent of an incoming student and noticed a few parents on here. At the Summer Orientation over the weekend someone mentioned the Carleton University Parents Group on FB. I joined and for the parents on here, this may be where you want to be to satisfy all the questions and type A, OCD, anxieties you might have. Our old asses are still all on FB. Lots of photos of res rooms too and measurements people took! So just sharing the info since I didn't even think to look on FB. Make sure it's the Private group. Theres a public group that looks like it gets spammed non stop.

Dashcam footage - Thickson Taunton

I'm looking for dash cam footage of Taunton and Thickson from around 4:55-5:05 pm today, August 6th of a white pick up truck hitting a teenager on an e-scooter. It occurred on the southbound right turning lane in the north west corner at the cross walk. Luckily my son was not seriously injured but after my son pulled himself and his scooter from under the vehicle, the driver drove off.

My son says it was a white or grey pick up truck with a light skinned driver with light curly hair.

Please DM me if you have any information and we can make sure this reckless driver does not harm anyone else more seriously.

I tried posting this in the Whitby residents Facebook group but the admins rejected it because of key words?! I don't even know what that means.

Summer Open House worth going?

There's a summer open house in August and thinking if I should go so I can figure out what to bring for Res or is that a waste to travel and I can get all the info - size of desks, configuration, etc, online? Or did it find it useful to help prepare for campus life?

I've been on again off again tracking my food for the last 20 years. Sometimes I can't bring myself to do it. Trauma or it's too complicated to bother. Now that I'm on Wegovy, I'm wondering if I should just eat intuitively or continue to try and track to truly stay in a deficit. Have people had success without tracking? I'm on week 2, lowest dose and lost 3 lbs in the first week but week 2 daily weigh in is about the same.
