I just received an Ampero II Stage. Loving it so far but wondering in there’s any way to increase looping time. As a jazz player, many songs forms are 32 bars and one minute just isn’t enough. I was hoping the on board looper would take the place of my previous looper but this won’t do it even for practicing or teaching.
Looking at the Stage II but not a fan of the clear pedal toppers that look like old timey doorknobs. Can they be removed?
Granted I’m overdue with mowing but why is my grass turning red and splotchy? This area is in shade most of the day.
What’s everyone’s experiences been like with Cable Free Guitar (CFG) wireless?
I had their Sonic Sphere 5.8G system and experienced occasional interference and dropouts but overall they worked great, especially for the low price. They quit working only a couple weeks before the 2-year warranty was up and the company replaced them with a new system that only lasted about a month. After that they replaced them with their newest system, the UHF nexus which looks cool but I have experienced a lot of background noise as well as a two occasions where the unit has produced a deafeningly loud high-pitched squeal (kind of a mood-killer when you are playing fingerstyle jazz guitar). Anyway, I think I have to find a new wireless system.
Have others had better or worse experiences? Inexpensive wireless recommendations?
TLDR: CFG’s customer service was incredible and I honestly did not think they would replace the system twice but the newer products have either failed within weeks or been too noisy to be used.
