Photos of a thriving Juniper by a beginner.
u/small_trunks told me that live junipers are a bit of a novelty here so enjoy!
1st pic: when I got the tree a month ago
2nd pic: a photo from a couple of days ago showcasing vigorous growth!

I just built my first bonsai bench!
Pic 1: inspired by Notion Bonsai
Pics 2 & 3: leveling is quite difficult and time consuming. I wish I had some of those fancy editing skills that YouTubers use…could have sped things up here lol!
Pics 4 & 5: I set the rest of the blocks with caulk for added durability and stability. Getting close!
Pics 6 & 7: completed bench! I spent the whole day on this guy and I have a new found respect for anyone that levels surfaces on a daily basis. Thankfully I bought sand before hand to help with the leveling process but it still took a minute.
I can’t wait to put trees on it! As soon as these set of storms pass and the bench has had time to settle I’ll just admire it from afar.
Also if anyone has any recommendations on ways that I could build shade cloth support that’d be great!
Couldn’t remember what this big fella is exactly.
Here is another beautiful specimen!
Azalea Bonsai
I will continue to post one bonsai a day until I run out of bonsai pics. Enjoy the tree spam!
Just got these from Mr. Maple 🍁.
Another supply run at Brussels means more great bonsai pics!
I went to a local nursery for inspiration and motivation. I was not disappointed to say the least.
