With the removal of the iUP in favor of leasing and the rumors around iPhone Air 2 being pushed to spring 2027, I guess us iUP + Air owners are screwed if we're looking to upgrade?

I guess we'll have to pay up more for essentially the same phone and then be off cycle with the iPhone Leasing program (kinda hate the idea of giving my money to Klarna) when it's time for Air 3... unless they permanently stick to the Air coming out in Spring.

At that point it might just make sense to pay off the phone in full and try to sell it on the used market, depending on how much the Air depreciates by then. Or you keep it if you're happy with it, but I'm assuming most of us will want to upgrade to the Air 2 for UW and better battery at the minimum.
