Made it to the final round at McKinsey, what should I focus on?

Hi all,
I just found out I made it to the final round at McKinsey for a Tech & AI Specialist role. Pretty excited, and I want to make the most of the prep time.
For anyone who's been through the final round (especially specialist / Digital / QuantumBlack tracks):
What matters most in the final round? Is it mainly the case, the PEI (Personal Experience Interview), or the technical depth? How do partners weigh these compared to earlier rounds?
How technical does it get? Should I expect deep dives into AI/ML concepts, architecture or implementation, or is it more about translating tech into business impact?
Case format for specialists: Are the cases standard McKinsey-style, or more tech/AI-focused (e.g. AI strategy, use-case prioritization, transformation roadmaps)?
PEI: Any tips on the stories that land best with partners (impact, leadership, entrepreneurial drive)?
Anything you wish you'd known before your final round?

For those who went through a major career transition, what actiually made you find your way

I ended my career as a professional athlete last month. And now I'm sitting here realizing that literally everything I used to answer "who are you?" with, is gone. Kind of my whole identity was based on sports. The structure, the identity, the daily purpose. All of it tied to one thing. And that thing is over.
I've been talking to a lot of people going through similar transitions (people after big life changes) and the pattern is the same: everyone jumps straight to "what job should I do next" before they've figured out who they even are now.

What actually helped you get clarity on that part? Not the job search. The identity part. And what were you missing in your transition time?

Would love to hear other experiences to mine.

find my path

I was a professional tennis player. This month I retired. And I have no idea what comes next. anyone else been here

For 15 years my identity was completely tied to sport. Every decision, every morning, every goal, all of it centered around tennis.

This month I played my last match. And now I'm sitting here with an MBA, a head full of ideas, and this strange feeling of being capable of anything but having no idea where to actually point it.

I'm not looking for career advice in the traditional sense. I don't need a job board or a CV tip. I need to figure out who I am when sport is no longer the answer to that question.

Has anyone been through a transition like this? Not just job-to-job, but a full identity shift? What actually helped, and what was just noise?

Really curious about real experiences.
