Teva Hurricane XLT3 felt strange on my feet - did anyone have a similar experience?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for comfortable sandals for long walking and travelling, and I kept seeing Teva Hurricane recommended as one of the best options for this purpose. I read a lot of positive reviews about how comfortable they are for all-day walking, so I went to a store to try them on and compare sizes before ordering.
I tried the Hurricane XLT3 (the XLT2 was not available), and I have to say I was a bit surprised. They felt quite stiff and “plastic-like” while walking, not as comfortable as I expected based on the reviews.
The biggest issue was that my foot seemed to move towards the outside of the sandal when walking. It felt like the strap near my big toe was positioned a bit too high and was pushing my foot sideways instead of keeping it centered.
The size itself seemed okay, so I don’t think it was only a sizing problem.
Did anyone else have a similar experience with the XLT3? Does the XLT2 feel different (especially regarding the straps/fit)? Or should I also consider something like the Ecco Cruise II instead?
I’d love to hear your experiences, especially from people who use their sandals for travelling and lots of walking.

Which are better for hot temperatures? Ghost 17 or Glycerin 22?
I have never owned Brooks shoes before, and I'm not a runner.
I'm looking for a pair of comfortable everyday walking shoes for summer. I'll also be taking them on a trip to Asia, where I'll likely be walking 15-20 km a day in hot and humid weather (around 29-33°C).
From what I've read, the Ghost 17 seems like a great walking shoe, even for long days and some light hiking.
However, RunRepeat rated its breathability only 3/5.
I started looking at other Brooks models and noticed that the Glycerin 22 received a perfect 5/5 for breathability in their lab tests.
But then I came across a review saying that the Glycerin 22 actually feels warmer than the Ghost 17 because of the thicker padding, plush tongue, and overall more cushioned upper.
Now I'm completely confused.
Has anyone worn both shoes in hot summer weather? Which one actually feels cooler on foot during long walks?
I'm not interested in running performance - only walking comfort and how warm the shoes feel in hot weather.

Where does your bird like to be scritched the most?
Both of mine cockatiels looove when I scritch them around their beak (on this little thin skin beside the beak and under the beak). Just look how happy he is 😌

Why so silent about new flavour - Tropical
I only know about it because my friend who has subscription got an email.
I have no subscription and my newsletter didn't inform me about it and I also do not have an otpion to buy it. I guess it is only for people who have subcribtion, but I was surprised that there is also no new post about it on Reddit, so here - I made one.
Has anyone already tried the new Tropical flavour? From what I know it is mango&lime.
