Question Regarding Left Handed Rem Style Short Action and Scope Clearance

Looking set up my first bolt gun. I've held off on this being left handed but I am ready to get my first wrong handed action. My only concern is interference with the throw lever and a 90 degree throw.

Specifics:

I plan to use the Leupold MK5 3.6-18x44 that I already own and if I feel I'm lacking magnification invest in a higher power version down the road. In either case I'll be sticking with the Mk5 to keep the same family of scopes as my gas guns.

My question for the delegation is, will I have interference issues using a 90 degree action with my scope on lower magnification (throw lever sits between 7-10 o'clock when on the lower half of the power range)? And would it be best bet to look at an action with 75/60 throws? I was all but set on purchasing a Zermatt action but they only make 90s, so now I might look at CDG or Impact (although I was hoping to only spend the lower price point of the Zermatt Origin).

Regarding scope mounting height either something around 1.54" for future NV/thermal co-witnessing, or something a little lower around 1.3".

I don't believe the stock/chasis factors into the question but in case it does, I was looking into either a McMillan U-10 or Manners MCS-NS.

Thanks for any help given!

Looking to replace TB visors with ZR2 versions that actually extend/telescope, help needed.

https://preview.redd.it/tz19tp741ngh1.png?width=1147&format=png&auto=webp&s=5743430946722191db3d59953ca86af5398ea86e

I had been told that ZR2 visors WILL work as a plug and play option in the Trail Boss trim. So I ordered a driver (84845868) and passenger (85735141) this morning. Just now I received this email from them.

First issue is that apparently the driver part 84845868 is no longer available and had been replaced with 85735136.

Can anyone confirm that parts 85735136 (driver) and 85735141 (passenger) will work plug and play with a 2025 Trail Boss?

Not sure if it is relevant but my interior is all black with the technology and convenience packages, but my visors are just standard non-extendable black cloth ones.

Which is best for WW? I rolled there similar but different Seligs

Sorry for another of these posts. Not sure if I need the double Cooldown, as I rolled a 10% CDR on my RMO as well.

California DMV Registration Question for those of you with bed caps/shells attached

Just got my first DMV Registration renewal letter for my '25 TB and the fee really threw me through a loop ($689).

Looking into it the high price, in part, is due to how CA treats all trucks with open beds as Commercial Vehicles and so get a higher registration fee added on.

Apparently, you can circumvent this additional fee by installing a camper/camper shell. Doing so in their eyes changes it from commercial to a "housecar" and may be registered as a passenger vehicle.

But as all things Government related, just adding the shell doesn't necessarily make it a passenger vehicle. They say you have to meet human habitation or camping purposes as defined by "living space which includes, but is not limited to: closets, cabinets, kitchen units or fixtures, and bath or toilet rooms.

My question is, do any of you in CA with shells attached have any experience with getting your truck registered as a passenger vehicle with this "loophole" and did you need to have any amenities as defined above within or was slapping the shell on enough?

What is meant to thread into this exposed bolt/screw? I am not sure if it has been like this ever since I bought the truck last August or if something came off recently, but I just noticed them when throwing out some trash at the gas station. Under both passenger and driver seat. 2025 Trail Boss.

Seems odd to have a random exposed thread like that from factory.

Well, RNGsus sure was a fickle mistress last night. Started by giving me this crazy roll on Ramaladni's, my first usable GA on it this season. And then to make up for it, rolled Indestructible on 6 separate pieces of gear, including said RMO. At least it didn't add Max Life and is still usable.

Edit: I've been told this is the norm for T12 and only the Selig build will avoid this. Thanks guys!

I don't have screenshots currently of my gear, but I have everything in his planner for the Mythic version of his WW build (not Selig version).

- Paragon 215

- All Glyphs >51

- If I remember my stats correctly my toughness was ~700,000, most resistances ~69% with Physical at ~73%

- All Gear with at least one GA stat and Ancestral

- GA Tempers on all gear besides a couple critical strike chance on weapons (need more souls). But Defensive Tempers all GA

- Affixes for all Defensive gear match build guide

- All Recommended Aspects, most maxed out versions

- Horadric Gems (2Ruby, half skull/half diamond in weapons, diamonds in jewelry) in all applicable slots and proper Runewords

- Tuskhelm Unique Charm and Sescheron's Fury Charm set (Ancestral with a mix of Max Resource and All Stat affixes rolled)

- Polearm Weapon Mastery, Dual Wield Arsenal for WW

However I am using Subo instead of Raheir for the ease of farming and seeing enemies on the map. Might this be causing the one shots?

I have the damage to clear anything. T100 pits with ease, T12 Belial dies before he can attack past his initial fist slam. But if any of the post death explosions hit me, or something as simple as a lightning arc from an empowered enemy hit me, I might as well be wet paper, even with Iron Skin up.
