do you think spiderman used a cage in brand new day to hide his arachnid cum pipe with the new tight suit so daddy hulk would have more fun going in dry while holding his little 30yo twink waist?
Family sci-fi comedy where aliens search for colored rings that power their UFO
I've been trying to find this movie for years, and havent been able to identify it.
Here is everything I remember:
- I watched it around 2012–2017, but I'm almost certain the movie itself was older (probably from the 1980s or early 1990s).
- It was a live-action American (or possibly Canadian) family movie.
- The genre was family / comedy / science fiction.
- It took place in a small American town.
- There were children involved in the story, and they played an important role.
- A group of aliens arrived in a small UFO.
The most distinctive part of the movie is this:
The aliens were searching for about seven colored rings (I'm not 100% sure about the number, but I think it was seven). These rings were the power source for their UFO. Whenever they found a ring, they placed it into the spacecraft.
Near the end of the movie, it is revealed that the real rings had been secretly replaced with cheap plastic toy rings. The aliens only realized this after collecting them, and the fake toy rings could not power the UFO.
Other things I vaguely remember:
- A man drives his car through bushes or shrubs during one scene.
- The tone of the movie was funny rather than serious.
- It wasn't a horror movie.
- The aliens may have been small, but I'm not completely sure.
Movies that are NOT the one I'm looking for:
- Spaced Invaders (1990)
- Coneheads (1993)
- Aliens in the Attic (2009)
- Aliens for Breakfast (1994)
The colored rings powering the UFO and the plastic toy ring switch at the end are the details I'm most confident about.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
