For reference I'm asking because my nearest Oriental Orthodox church is like a 12 minute drive and my parents are atheists who refuse to take me to church. I also cannot drive or take public transport but there is a Catholic church 2 minute walk away so I was wondering am I good to confess sins in a Catholic church as a Coptic

I posted a post on r/teenagers about how people at my school get mad at me for spreading my beliefs about homosexuals and how it is a sin and on r/teenagers I was expecting people to tell me how to be more respectful or guidance in scripture but it was just people calling me a big got and hateful and downvoting me my karma was cooked. I am reading the Bible for the first time and I am trying to figure out what to read next I have read Genesis, Ecclesiastes, job Haggai Obbadaiah Romans and Galatians I am also reading Psalms and Proverbs daily chipping away at those my favorite parts of the Bible are the poetry and I really like the old testament I want to read Leviticus and exodus but it seems quite daunting I should read the gospels but the old testament intrests me much more
