I think I have been scammed

Hi! I bought a pair of boots the other day from Vinted. In the description it said they were new, with tags. The pics were not great but they looked ok, inside the original box. I paid £50 with delivery.
The boots arrive, I open them and they are not new at all. I speak to the seller telling him I have a problem and I want to return them. He offers me £20 and I can keep them, but I rejected it and ask to send them back. He makes me pay the delivery, which I find unfair but I accept it. The thing is the parcel has arrived to the address, but he hasn’t picked it up yet. It has been 4 days there and I’m sure they are going to be sent back to me cos he is not picking them up or responding my messages. If this happens, am I losing the money? What can I do? It wasn’t my fault he lied to me, I find it very unfair. If it was £10 or £20, I would just leave it, but £50 is a considerable amount… should I speak to Vinted or I don’t have any other choice more than wait.
Thanks!

After almost 2 months in Etsy…. Nothing

Hi! Sorry to bother Etsy community again. I asked for a feedback a few weeks ago and everyone was very polite and gave me good advice.
I’ve changed a few things trying to improve my pics, SEO, and I got like 200 visits in the last month, 1 fav and 1 follow, that’s all. Not sales at all. I’ve run sales, discounts, ads in Etsy, used instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest… I do resin notebooks, jewellery, games… all can be personalised. Maybe my products are not nice enough. I’ve visited other shops that do similar things and some of my products look better than theirs, and cheaper 🤷🏻‍♀️ But they get sales and I don’t 🤣
People told me to stop doing cross-stitch in resin, so I’ve left the listing on with these products but I haven’t added any more. Same with some coasters that someone told me it shouldn’t be the main ones, I’ve left them but add different ones as well.
I even offer free delivery. I haven’t opened my shop globally cos I don’t see the point, who is going to pay £20 delivery if the product cost £6? XD
I use chat gpt to do my descriptions uploading a pic and they describe it, etc. should I stop doing this? Maybe it gives the impression that my shop is fake or something? I’ve thought as well that maybe people think if my products are that cheap they are not good enough?

Thanks! And I’ll try not to annoy the community again with the same issue!

My shop is dead

Hi!! I’ve just opened my shop in Etsy (https://lilithpoeresinstudio.etsy.com ) It’s the first time I try to sell anything made by me and I feel super insecure about everything.
Long story short, I love doing cross-stitch, and I thought about selling some stuff I’ve made or I could make (personalised items) but I wanted to make sure it could last long (we know fabric is delicate). Anyway, I decided to use resin, which I did and I loved the result. It turned out that i love working with resin, I’ve done stuff even without using the cross-stitch in it (which was the first idea). I’ve decided to open a shop in Etsy but I didn’t think it was going to take me that much time, effort and money… and I feel it’s been for nothing. I’m paying the adverts, I’ve created an instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts but I’m not getting visits or anything.
Is my idea that silly?
Is my shop that bad?
I don’t want massive orders, I have already a job, so this is not going to be my main income or anything like that, but I feel like maybe I’m wasting my time and I just should do resin stuff and give them away to friends or keep them. No sure…
Do people think I should give it a go considering the products I’m selling?
Should I stop paying the adverts if they don’t work that well? I’ve invested a lot of money and time in this project and I feel like I shouldn’t expend more…

Thanks :)
