Bearing no name, he erects a sturdy platform around the back arch of Devil's spine. His cabin upon it sits between the first and 2nd islands of the Devil's spine. The goods he lays bare on his post range from gutting tools to shining blades.

As per the title, something in the behavior of a dog of mine has changed rather sharply between the last 4 years-ish. He used to be a very social and happy dog towards me but has lost that attitude within the time I mentioned above and has gotten heavily defensive and standoffish with me and the general family. When I say defensive I mean that....he's generally fine with people and us but he always has a treat or something of food value with him, even if that treat is several weeks old that he managed to get out from under the couch. He's well fed (a simple chicken diet with occasional table scraps) but has gotten far less playful. If i were to sit near him a at a time roughly 2 years ago he would have ran to jump into my lap and lick my face, past that time he grumbles and guards his treat or acts like hes guarding one. He's been very snappy regardless of what the food item or treat is. He also has increased the amount of times of using the bathroom indoors despite us training him and the others to go out to the backyard to do business.

Edit: I will say that both a sister and brother of his have passed away, his sister just over 2 weeks ago and his brother roughly 2 years ago, though he began acting differently a little before then too, thats why I made the estimate to about 4 years back since he changed slowly but very noticeably.

This is my dog and shes often very shy and quiet and I want to get to know how she communicates via body language. Could any of you help me understand how she was in the video and how I can understand what she does/means?
