Wired: Athletes read the dumbest shit imaginable: NFL offseason leads to summer reading
It's an If Books Could Kill Fest in that piece (which, in and of itself, is one of the most-slapped-together articles I have read in a minute).
Today in my algorithm I was served up a (so poorly written I thought it might be AI) post about how bad “A Nightmare on State Street” is. It wasn’t the first post of that ilk I have been served up, and while I think that episode is solid, it did make me wonder. What is, by popular opinion, the least good episode of Psych? This is not a canonical show in the zeitgeist , so I understand an impulse not to knock it, but this is a place to feel free to talk a little trash about a show you love. I’m literally watching “Dual Spires” as I write this. This is the place on the internet to figure out the nadir for Psych. For me it’s S.I.E.Z.E. the Day, for the record. A total nothing of an episode.
Or the dumbest man alive? Watching it now on the Columbo channel (aka Universal Crime) and for the first time it really struck me that his nephew burst into the room while he was taking a bath with his “wedding gift” and then proceeds to blithely accept the presentation of a kitchen mixer as if though the whole thing makes sense. The biggest naïf in all of Columbo.
Mixed-Up Zombies was on one of the streams earlier, and from the first “feelthy peeg” to the last it still amuses me. So what’s a riff that was used liberally that never loses its luster for you. My mind is on single-episode heavy usage, but feel free to go with heavily-utilized riffs used in multiple episodes.
