But then it happened.
As she inserted her fingers, I felt the most intense pain that shot through my cervix, radiating into the entire lower half of my body. I remember immediately crying and begging her to stop, telling her it hurt too bad. Her response was “I know honey, I’m almost done” as I squirmed, using my hands to try to scoot myself away from her.
“2 centimeters dilated! The nurses will be in to check on you in a bit. I will see you at the birth!”
Then she walked out, not to be seen again until Milk Monster was crowning and I was left shaking from the pain and astonishment that she just did that.
