Movies with badass cop as protagonist

I recently watched Dirty Harry (1971), and absolutely loved the movie.

I am looking for some good movies featuring a badass cop.

What brief appearances completely owned the movie?

Peter Stormare as Lucifer in Constantine (2005) literally owned the movie with barely any screen time.

I also loved how he casually one-shotted Gabriel.

Nagato (with Preta) Vs. PS Sword Strike

Would a PS strike obliterate Nagato, or would Nagato's Preta Path completely neutralize the strike?

What’s a movie/series you watched as a kid that you now realize was way darker or more mature than you understood?

What are some boring, uninteresting, and forgettable protagonists in movies?

Since I recently rewatched World War Z (2013), and as much as I love Brad Pitt, Gerry Lane is straight-up one of the most uninteresting and forgettable protagonists in a blockbuster movie, imo.

Name the greatest on screen detectives in movies (except Bond, Benoit Blanc, and Sherlock Holmes).

Imo, Teddy Daniels in Shutter Island (2010) is one of the greatest detective performances ever.

What’s a trilogy that you loved all the way through, despite the flaws in the later films, if any (except LOTR and Back to the Future)?

I think Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) is easily one the best action comedy post 2010.

I enjoyed the other two as well, and I think they are both solid movies, even if they don’t reach the same level as the first one, which is something common for most of the trilogies.

I honestly think it is one of the most heartbreaking death scene, with a small but powerful quietly epic moment.

In the movie Blood Diamond (2006), Archer (LDC) is dying on the hillside. In his last moments, he grabs a handful of that red soil with his blood covered hands.

Earlier in the movie, Coetzee had picked up that same red soil and told Archer it’s red because of all the blood spilled in Africa and that Archer would never leave the continent. And in the end, that’s exactly what happens.

When he touches the soil, it feels like he is fulfilling the prophecy and accepting his fate, his past, and the fact that, in a way, Africa is where he belongs.

I am pretty sure the Sakura fanboys have only read Databooks, but not the actual novel, which holds more canonicity than databooks, just like Manga taking precedence over the databooks.

Sakura fanboys should try reading the novel or manga for once instead of living inside databooks 24/7.

Novel explicitly debunks the notion of Sakura being relative to Six Paths Naruto.

Here are few scans of the novel debunking the same:-

>1. Even though he had said "my gut," Kakashi had to have been holding some more concrete evidence. Kakashi was convinced that Hanabi's kidnapping and the approach of the moon were somehow connected. It was because of this that he had dared to add Naruto, the strongest, as a team member.

Naruto was the strongest member in the team comprising of Sakura, Shikamaru, Sai, and Hinata.

>2. Shikamaru and the others were riding separately on the ink birds that Sai made, investigating. Sai, Shikamaru, and Sakura each rode individually, while Naruto and Hinata rode on a bird together. Hinata was a target of the enemy. Out of concern, it was decided that she would be placed near Naruto, the strongest on the team.

Naruto is stated as strongest member on another moment.

>3. In Shikamaru's line of sight was Hinata kneeling at a drinking fountain, and Naruto, who wouldn't leave her side. Even Shikamaru had noticed that Naruto and Hinata were rapidly getting closer. Naruto falling in love was fine, but they were on a mission right now. It would be a problem if the strongest member of the team couldn't use his full power.

Naruto is again stated as strongest member in the team.

>4. They had already been hiding out in this cave for three days. Even though Sakura said he had gotten past the worst of it, it was still worrisome that Naruto's consciousness had not returned. In any case, Naruto was still the strongest shinobi on the team-they couldn't fulfill the mission without him. And of course, he was an irreplaceable friend to Shikamaru as well.

It is stated that they couldn't fulfill the mission without Naruto, and Naruto was still the strongest even after losing consciousness.

Conclusion: BSM Naruto >>>>> Sakura.

The Novel straight up scales BSM Naruto above Sakura, and Sakura is relative to Six Paths Naruto/Sasuke only in the wet dreams of her fanboys.

I’ve been rewatching movies lately. After Man of Steel, I rewatched Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978).

Since I just saw it, I’d say Nancy Bellicec stands out as one of the smartest supporting characters. She shines once the horror escalates.

She is the last human we see actively evading capture in the ending sequence.

I rewatched Man of Steel with my brother, and it made me like General Zod more than before.

He kept it calm and intense which actually made him feel more real.

Michael Shannon absolutely nailed the performance.
