Any shinty players in the sub? I have a cousin who is looking to try shinty over the summer. They’ve played camogie in Ireland and are keen to try shinty whilst they’re visiting. Just looking to connect them with any players that might be able to help if possible.

My husband’s 50th is coming up next month and due to coming into some money unexpectedly, I’m looking for ideas of a 3-4 night trip for us as a surprise trip.

A city break would be great but not Prague, Copenhagen, UK or Ireland or Poland (as we’ve travelled extensively to these places before). We like to wander and look at architecture, drink coffee and eat delicious treats and mooch around museums (the weirder the better).

Ideally flying from Glasgow or Edinburgh though could do another UK airport if it’s a great deal.

I’m overwhelmed with choice to be honest! So if you have any ideas, or want to tell me where you’d like to go/take your loved one, I’d love to hear it!
