S5 E3: Dan Tiernan

Not heard of Dan before, but a very funny episode, can’t believe we’ve had to wait til now before visiting a group of real life wizards to buy a topit. Best guess on what a topit is (wrong answers only). Sounds like the natural successor to bop it but with more buttons to me.

Good to hear an old school comedian in a younger man’s body:
- wake up in the afternoon
- coffee, pints and cigarette diet
- completely dehydrated
- does a talk sport radio show
- tiny hands
- wants to be Paul Daniels

Shoutout to Newbury! I was there yesterday! This podcast truly is the centre of the known universe - no swampy seen.

Bottle under bed

Wife and I checked into our air bnb for this weekend's trip and upon doing our standard bed check we found this bottle filled with this mysterious white substance. Wife and I have theories, but figures we would post here.

Us neuro-silly-billy types are well represented ✅

As a person with ADHD, this podcast makes me feel incredibly seen! 🥰

Within two seconds of Dan Tiernan starting his day - I was like, yup, he's one of us. Also loved Annette and Hal's - and, of course, Nish's yesterdays too.

What's so cool is how everyone's doing their own thing, handling things differently and seeing what works for them and their lovely brains.

Tbh it's the episodes with people being amazingly and impressively neurotypical that blow me away! As inadvertently throughout life been surrounded with people like me. So that's brilliantly refreshing and utterly interesting too. How the other half live... in relative peace. Does. Not. Compute. 🤣🤣

In it for life (ADHD and WDYDY)

Guardian football weekly pod...

Slight diversion, but hear me out. Hello Max by the way.

OK, I've been loving WDYDY and a couple of months ago I started listening to the Guardian football weekly pod, to continue the vibes.

Max is now in LA for 6 weeks living with "his other Irish co-host" Barry Glendenning. They are flat sharing a serviced apartment as I understand it.

Barry seems permanently pissed off with Max and this gets down to the beef of my point - is it that Barry is just a miserable sod, or is it Max being full of energy, vegetables and seeds that he's too much?

Obviously I think it's the latter, but I've now got to the stage where I'm struggling to listen to the podcast since Barry is barely hiding his contempt for Max any more.

What think you all?
