What do you call the trope where the creator doesn't write part of a story and instead has someone else do it?

Trying to add this piece of info to a Trivia page but I don't know what the trope is called.

Could these 5 also be from forest tribes?

Diego's profile has made me wonder who else might be from a forest tribe like he is. These five are the only other characters we've seen so far with face markings. Though I doubt all five are actually connected to the forest tribes, so I'm curious who you all think are likely or unlikely to be from one.

Would've included the redhead girl too, but I don't have an image of her on hand. Also with her forehead arrow being much less intricate than any of theirs are, I doubt she's from a tribe anyways. For her I theorize that she's from Brigid.

With how many characters have been confirmed playable, I wouldn't be shocked if this guy gets revealed to be playable too

It's always interesting to see how different Japanese FE fans and Overseas FE fans are

Yesterday before I went to bed I was scrolling through the For You tab on Twitter, when I came across a tweet from a Japanese Switch news account called Switchsoku. The tweet talked about a Eurogamer reviewer's first thoughts on Fortune's Weave after playing it for 20 hours. The tweet specifically mentions the reviewer saying in his article that Fortune's Weave's story is extremely layered and has a lot of depth, unlike Engage.

That last part really set off Japanese FE fans though cause when I looked at the qrts, the vast majority of them were Japanese accounts vocalizing their distaste for the reviewer adding that. One side of the qrts were defending Engage and talking about what they liked about it, another side was questioning why you'd even compliment a game by putting down another one, and a third group just talked about how they hate when reviews do that since it makes them not take the review seriously.

There were a few who agreed with the reviewer but even they added that they still like Engage.

I just find it really interesting to see how different overseas fe fans talk about the games compared to japanese fans, Engage in particular.

On the off chance that we get the profile of Leda's next party member today, which do you think it'll be?

Of course we can't be too sure they're going to post them today. Especially since we haven't even gotten Lilian's gameplay video and I doubt they'd just skip it. But they've already gone off schedule so who knows what they'll do.

Anyone else a little excited to see more of Theodora's party?

In a few hours we'll be getting a new tweet from the Fire Emblem twitter account that will also reveal more of the characters you'll get to use in Theodora's route.

While I definitely understand why she's barely been talked about. It will be nice to finally find out more about her party than just her two retainers and I was curious to hear all of your opinions on the matter.

And also to share who you think the other party members will be. At least the ones they'll show that is.

Personally I'm calling that at least one of these three women, if not all three of them, are part of Theodora's squad. Might be jumping the gun a bit but it just feels right to me.

I'm seeing a lot of people think Fabio is Solon due to his ear piercing, but it should be noted every Agarthan has them

Two Fortune's Weave characters have gotten their names revealed!

In the latest gameplay video that the Fire Emblem twitter released just now. It showed Cai and his party of Ultand, Glasses Girl, and Redhead Archer Boy engaging in combat.

The video revealed that Glasses Girl is named Tiara, and Archer Boy is either Peter or Pieter (I've seen both used).

Assumptions you had during the Pre-Release period of Three Houses

With the release of Fortune's Weave on the horizon, and the official Japanese twitter account releasing character bios now. I'm interested to hear from those who were also around during Three Houses' pre-release period, and if any of you also had assumptions based on the early trailers/info that ended up being completely wrong. Personally I had two.

  1. Sylvain and Ferdinand were connected in some way

Actually at first when I saw their brief appearances in the early trailers I kept mixing them up as being the same character. Until they were shown fighting each other in one of them. But since this was before we learned you could take students from other houses, and with how similar they looked, I immediately thought they were part of the same house and had to be related. Then the character bios came out and I was swiftly disproven.

  1. Ignatz was a girl

Rewatching the trailers I honestly don't know how I came to this conclusion. But when the 2019 direct trailer showed off more of the three houses, I genuinely thought Ignatz was a girl. It wasn't until the Famitsu scans talking about Three Houses came out afterwards, and one of the screenshots in the article showed a conversation between Ignatz and Lysithea that I realized I was hilariously wrong.
