Section 15 Row G

I'm interested in purchasing tickets for Fever/Storm on July 28.

Are those seats good where I can see the action?

NY media and NY fans show ignorance

I listened to Cofield and Company, a sports talk show in Las Vegas. I have been searching for quality sports talk for a long time, and I discovered this show.

It was refreshing to hear Steve Cofield rave about Wemby and the Spurs. I enjoyed it. Compared that to this shit show we have in sports talk here, it makes you embarassed to have two sports stations that do such awful job with sports talk.

The lack of respect Wemby and Spurs by the local media is embarrassing just by the ignorance the talkies and the media members have shown. It's so obvious no one watched a minute of the Spurs this season.

It's no wonder we are a joke as a sports town. When the media shows ignorance, it filters through the fans.

Here's hoping the Spurs sweep the Knicks in 4.

David Stearns baseball

What you saw last night was minor league stuff from what was supposed to be a major league operation, which the Mets aren't from starting an opener for the 2nd straight game to Tong not being ready for the majors to the fielders' butchering the ball. David Stearns' baseball is a joke.

It's clear he knew nothing about the game from his time at Harvard, and it's obvious he never played baseball in his life. All of this is killing the Mets. How can Steve Cohen sit here & think all is well and everything is okay when the Harvard grad continues to make a mockery of his team based on what you saw last night? Also, Mets fans, why are you okay with this? I know Cohen is not watching the games, but c'mon.

I hope one day the local media would have the guts to call out David Stearns in person and in print, but the media is so different from what it used to be, and it doesn't help the editors don't want journalism or honest commentary so the papers can still be in business.

Why are we soft on Stearns?

Why are the media and even Mets fans so soft on David Stearns? I don't understand why he gets a free pass here. He's been a terrible executive here, and he's a jerk all around.

Stearns inherit a great operation, and he has made them a laughingstock in the two years he has been here. He was hired to run a professional operation when it's been far from that.

On Friday night, the Harvard genius apparently told his manager not to use Devin Williams and have Luke Weaver to be his closer, so Tobias Meyers played the role of a setup guy, and Meyers fell apart not surprisingly. This is not how a professional organization is run where a manager is handcuffed on what to do. No wonder the dude from Harvard fired Buck since Buck would offer pushback to the guy's stupidity.

Outside of Jose Iglesias and Clay Holmes, what good move has Stearns done here? Seriously. You can't come up with one.

All this Harvard dude has done is ran winning stalwarts out of town and bring failed ex-Brewers to run this team on the ground. What makes anyone think Stearns will actually be the guy that will make the Mets better than the Braves ever? It's even laughable and insulting we think Stearns is better than excellent Braves GM Alex Anthopohlous.

It's sad when Joe Bengino is the only one in town that will call out Stearns.
