For people who work a more professional job: am I going to get denied for a month off request for a rhinoplasty?

I requested a whole month off cuz I don’t want to look insane in front of clients and also want to feel at least 80% good again. So from your experience will I get denied? It’s like a whole process I had to put in a request then I have to fill out a document and send to the dr and he faxs it back.

I don’t have 4 weeks pto to use so it’s like one week pto to use plus three weeks unpaid.

Does anyone else find banking absolutely draining?

I work in banking and I see the same faces everyday and do the same things everyday. I have fake smile and have this fake personality that is just not me to appeal to clients. After work I feel way too drained to do literally anything else I desire. I hate that I can’t just request time off and it needs to be approved 6 months advanced. I hate how disgusting some people are all I can smell is dirty clothes and dirty scalp all day. I really dislike working 6 days a week sometimes too since we’re open Saturdays.

I like the stability I guess but even then I don’t think I’m meant to deal with this mundane boring job it’s so predictable.

I know there’s flaws with every job and everyone hates their job whatever. I am just so unhappy. I am actually pretty good at sales. I know what I need to do, I am very good at talking to people. I think it’s a great job for the average person with kids and likes the predictability I just can’t.

How much time did you request off work?

My dr said absolute minimum is a week but two is preferable. My job is customer facing, is 2 weeks enough time to not look crazy?

I think I can call and ask for short term disability so I can request more time… how much time should I ask for? 3 weeks?

Every few months I have a huge dream about becoming a fa. I have a really good stable job atm but I’m so unhappy with it. I’m thinking about being a fa again, does that mean I should try applying?

What do I do? I recently took a promotion as well at my current job. It’s a one min drive to work and it’s a 9-5. Some days are really good and some days I just hate it so much. I know that’s every job. I hate feeling stuck. I never get to see anything and I have no adventure in my life. I live in a small boring town and I see the same faces everyday. I hate how mundane my life is. I never feel more alive than when I’m at a new place. Before my promotion my job title was all about safety and rules, very similar to a fa. I don’t want to be an fa for the reason I like to travel, it’s a huge part yes but ik damn well I’ll get weird middle of nowhere places. I’m prepared for that. I have never moved out of my home town and I just feel depressed about it. I love Chicago and I would be so happy to get based there but I love big cities in she did be happy anywhere. I would have to be a commuter anyway.

I also really love that it seems like you guys after some time can choose to not work so much? Ike you can request to just not work for a full week or more? I hate that about my current job, if you didn’t request a certain day off 8 months in advance he’ll just say no. I even had a f2f back in April that I had to miss cuz my boss said I couldn’t have those two days off. Even though it was a month in advance that I asked. I feel so guilty to leave tho, like I finally started a career but at the same time I’m only 23. Idk what to do!!

Is there a reason airlines care about tattoos so much??

I really don’t think it’s that deep although I’m biased. I do understand gross/offensive tattoos not allowed but like I have fish and plant tattoos.

I originally had my works insurance it was united, but in order for anything to get covered I would have had to pay 10k before anything is covered. That’s not horrible but thats a ton of money. Then I canceled it to get American collective. Yesterday it said my payment was decline, my cc is attached to it that’s at a 0 balance and it’s taken that exact card the last 6 months so idk what the issue was. And my card wasn’t locked or anything. I keep trying to call to update my info change the card and it just keeps saying box is full. I’ve emailed 4 times as well I’m at a loss
