I was thinking abt Yorozu’s insect armor bc I find it so cool but the insect aspect wasn’t touched upon as much as Kurourushi and Ko-guy so I added a pact to make her insect armor more interesting
She can’t innately maximize the power of the armor after constructing it, it remains absolute as long as she has control of her CE, what I was thinking abt is a pact that works in incomplete metamorphosis phases as the battle progresses, freshly constructed insect armor is weaker like a newborn hemimetabola nymph and requires extra CE to sustain.
It goes through instars as she slowly feeds it CE that would otherwise go to just controlling the armor or manipulating her Liquid Metal into different forms (7 total instars, uses the most CE and time to create the initial armor and power it past nymphancy) that reserved CE she would need would strengthen it until its complete hardened, small layers shedding off as it develops (like a shedding exoskeleton). After complete maturation, her armor reaches the Imago state. the pact rewards her extra patience to build up the stronger armor.
It requires zero CE to uphold this finished armor, similar to the armor in the og fight, but it heals automatically through the regrowth of limbs and parts that have been destroyed in battle, working as a pseudo RCT if she wants the armor to really mold with her flesh. It’s waterproof and heat resistant, adapting to different environmental phenomena like morphing its respiratory system to align with one of a diving beetle in aquatic environments or releasing excess heat through added spiracles, preventing the heat and pressure from building up and collapsing her armor. All these adaptations happen independently outside of her knowledge. (something that is needed for regular construction)
The armor is extremely durable against outside forces (enough to handle single hit direct impacts like max elephant) but can be chipped down by CTs, the biggest weakness being attacks that negates CT durability or attack the soul. (Like ssk) If the armor does manage to be destroyed all the CE it initially cost will be returned back to her reserves but she’ll need to re-go through metamorphosis to recover it.
The armor takes around ten minutes to construct naturally if she is trying to maintain an efficient reserve of CE (10 minutes if nothing else is being constructed, 17 if she’s using her Liquid Metal) but she can construct full Imago armor in less than 3 if she drains all her CE reserves in it, skipping the instar stages. This investment means she won’t be able to construct her Liquid Metal or DE anytime soon though.

She also does incomplete metamorphosis since Naoya was already shown to be representative of holometabola, I also wanted her to resemble kurou and ko-guy, so I continued the polyneoptera pattern, I also think she’d be a mantis because of the weird murderous necrophilia courting shit she did with Sukuna, she fits right in with the buge gang 🥹
