Heya! I know this is a long shot in the dark, but I figured I should try and ask and see. I am a long time lover of the series bride of the water god, and I am only missing volume 15 to complete my entire set! I got very lucky when I bought this series from someone, and I only was missing volume 10 and 15. I have found 10 for a decent price, but I really do not want to spend an arm and a leg for 15.
I am willing to pay up to 45 for this, which I know for OOP isn't a ton! It is my personal limit for volumes. I have messaged sellers to break up series, etc.
So my mom lost the keys to our chevy tahoe (2002), so we called a company and they sent a lock Smith out to the truck. I will mention during this call, I got the year wrong and said 1998.
We were quoted 135 for the key replacement at first, and when the guy came out, he took the ignition out and said that it had been replaced and there was no VIN number on it and that he would have to spend all day replacing the ignition and making a new key, and it would cost 300 instead.
My mom said okay, and that we would try setting an appointment another day. The guy mentioned to my mom that he was going to retire soon, and stuff.
She called me and told me, and I mentioned it to my friend, who called the dealer and still assuming it was a 1998 tahoe, the dealer said the replacement would be 70. My mom gets a ride there with my friend, it was 23 and this is when we learned that I had mistaken it and it's a 2002 tahoe, and that its one key.
They bring the key home, it unlocks the car door (which the previous key did unlock both the door, and the ignition.) And we get in, insert the key fully, and the ignition locks into place and won't turn.
They Smith and company are saying that it's because it's been replaced, and that's why it won't work, but I'm confused if the previous key worked for the door and the ignition, shouldn't this new one work as well since it's only a one key car?
We put the key in, it will turn a little bit and the dashboard lights up but it doesn't go further then that
There are more individual volumes, as well as Danmeis I have grabbed over the past few months! I just am tired and don't feel like grabbing out more.
I am currently at 2,571 volumes and it shall only grow more as time goes on :)
