0dte run, currently $25k in 3 weeks

First and foremost, I do not recommend trading 0dte! If you have enemies, convince them to trade 0dte’s and enjoy their downfall. With that said, I’m looking for advice from some experienced traders.

I don’t normally trade 0dte’s and do have a successful wheeling portfolio, but still a beginner. I was toying around with 0dte’s and went on a good run. I noticed that my sizing increased at times and this was magnified due to impatience. There are alot of emotions to deal with once you open this door. Any suggestion on ground rules to keep myself in check? Thanks!

Week 44 YTD gain of 31%

It’s been a while since I checked in. I began with 102k last August and just finished week 44. I am still a beginner and a big thanks to ScottishTrader and the others that post to this group. I continue to dabble in higher volatility stocks which is not the recommended strategy that ST advises. I will get there. I thought I would share the tickers and results over the past 44 weeks. 3 columns; premium income from CSP / CCs, gains/loss from assignments, and the final column was my venture into PMCCs using long term calls which I’ve since veered away from as you can see the results weren’t good.

I mostly do weeklies and sprinkle in some monthlies. I aim to take in .8-1% weekly premium. In any given week I will keep 25k in cash and I don’t use margin. I’ve been assigned many times and that’s part of the higher volatility tickers. So far that has worked in my favor as you can see the gains from assignments. I am currently holding a handful of assignments and continue to sell CCs and plan to hold for more gains. None are sitting at a large loss.

Good luck out there!

2025 SEL hybrid AWD MPG check in

Bought in July 2025 and the picture reflects all mileage driven. I toyed around with the paddles for the first 2 months then I stopped. It was fun and neat at first but then I noticed using the paddles only saved a little (2-3 mpg) at most in city driving. At about the 7k mileage mark I noticed that the mpg got better. I know this because my work commute I was getting 32-37 mpg and then I began getting 37-45 mpg. I drive in ECO mode and mostly non highway driving.
