I don’t believe attention seeking, lying Deb says. Side note: is it me or does Catelyn’s brother Nick who did this “interview” seem attention seeking by doing this?

Kayla’s abortion on Y&P

I’m sitting on customer service waiting on hold and put on the teen mom channel on Pluto for background noise. This is when Kayla is going to have an abortion. She says it’s because her relationship with Luke isn’t great and that she doesn’t know how she could take care of three kids. And she says she feels like this is the best thing. She also brings up the fact that Luke doesn’t think he’s the father. My opinion is she knows there’s a good chance that he’s not the father and that’s why she’s doing this. Because I guarantee that if she had that baby, and his family knew there was a possibility, they would demand a DNA test. And I think she knew there was a high chance that it would come back not Luke’s baby.

Has anyone else this? And I’m wondering why this is

Has anyone else noticed that Farrah treats Derek’s dad and stepmom a lot better than she treats a lot of people? Even in the OG years when she really acted like a bitch to people, all of that went away when she was with Derek’s dad and stepmom. Like there’s a scene when she’s out with them and Sophia. They all seem to be at like a park. And Sophia is fishing with other kids. And Farrah starts cheering on Sophia catching a fish and being really nice. I’m wondering why she seems nicer to them.

Did Danny and Pam get married because of DJ?

OK, so hear me out on this one:

I’m doing a rewatch for the first time as an adult. Like a real sit down and watch in order type of rewatch. And something occurred to me. I was just watching the episode The Graduates. In the episode, DJ is about to graduate junior high and go into high school. Which makes her 13 going on 14, if not 14 already. Also, in the episode, Danny says he’s 33. So that means Danny was either 19 or 20 when DJ was born. And we know from the tape of his old college talk show, they was in college and he showed the picture of baby DJ. So I’m wondering if Pam and Danny were dating. Pam unexpectedly got pregnant with DJ, and they sort of got married because it was in the 70s and it was considered the right thing to do. Also given what her parents seem to be like and his mom seems to be like, I could imagine that both sets of parents would push them to get married if Pam were pregnant.

What do you all think?

Did Deb turn both of her daughters into raging bitches?

So I’m watching a season 1 episode of TM while I fold laundry. Farrah goes to see her sister Ashley. And immediately, Ashley is asking where Sophia is. Then starts in on Farrah for not being around Sophia enough. It’s one thing to have concerns and voicing them, but immediately getting an attitude and basically yelling at her “go be a mom Farrah” isn’t that way to do it. So Farrah starts crying, which I would too probably at any age, and Ashley is being a bitch about it. She says “oh you’re going to get up and leave now?” Uh yeah. Why would she want to sit there and be berated by her big sister? And this is her face as Farrah leaves. She could give a smidgen of a shit that she upset her little sister. So did Deb basically turn both of her daughters into raging bitches? Also, is it me or does Ashley look like she’s trying not to laugh? Like it’s funny to her that she just made Farrah storm out of her apartment crying

Comet’s birthday party

I just watched the episode where they throw a birthday party for Comet. I found it adorable because I did that for my dog as an adult. I’d invite friends over who would bring their dogs. I’d get cookies or cupcakes for dogs. My dad one year got ice cream for dogs. My dog LOVED it because she got tokay with friends and she got cookies.

When did the widely hated people have a point??

I don’t mean someone like Chelsea or Briana because some people don’t like them. I’m talking about the people hated by the majority of the fandom. When did you feel bad for them? When did you agree with them??

Danny was awful to DJ and Stephanie.

Is it me or was Danny awful to DJ and Stephanie but gave Michelle special treatment? Michelle got special songs. Meanwhile DJ and Stephanie can’t watch the music awards because they accidentally knocked over a lamp. Michelle started the pillow fight that led to the lamp but it’s ok she’s a kid. Later in the episode she sneaks downstairs, grabs food and turns on the tv when she should be sleeping. And Danny finds her. What does he do? Talks about importance of sleep. He’s setting up those girls two girls for intense therapy as adults.

Edit: I just finished watching the episode. So Michelle decides to swim in her kiddie pool in the kitchen after Danny said no. The other girls tell her dad said no. Michelle does anyway. And Danny is mad at DJ and Stephanie?! He says why didn’t they stop her? What were they supposed to do? If they tried to stop her she’d cry and he’d blame them for making her cry. Or he’d be mad at them for not raking the leaves like they’re supposed to. These two can’t win.

I might be late to the party, but I just realized…

So I caught the end of season seven on Pluto TV the other day. And I saw the last scene with Scully in the hospital talking to Skinner. They are talking about how they have to find Mulder. And Scully seems especially desperate to find him. And then she tells Skinner that she’s pregnant. I might be late to the party on this, but it made me realize something. She must’ve suspected right from when they told her she’s pregnant that Mulder is the father. And that’s why she sounds so desperate in that scene to find him. Don’t jump on me for just coming to this realization because I was a kid when the show started and a teenager when the first run ended. So I never really put two and two together until I started re-watching recently as a full grown adult.

The latest Deadly Influence: Social Media Murders episode.

IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE LATEST EPISODE AND DON’T WANT SPOILERS, THEN STOP READING RIGHT NOW:

Just watched the latest episode about that guy Randy. I feel like there’s a lot of stuff they didn’t tell us. So Randy is a shy, but sweet guy making funny YouTube videos. And all of a sudden, he supposedly has this mental health decline. All of a sudden he becomes unhealthily obsessed with this cartoon character from his childhood. And his obsession gets to the point where he talks about killing himself to be with her because she’s a ghost. And supposedly, his parents had no idea about any of this. Had no idea that is mental health decline. About these dark things he’s putting on YouTube. At one point he even accidentally stabbed himself while making a dark YouTube video and needed multiple surgeries. My question on what I feel like they left out is where was he living? Was he around his parents? Because if he was that obsessed with these fictional characters, and that mentally ill do what he did, I don’t believe for a second there was no indication about his mental health decline. That’s what I don’t get. That’s what I feel like they left out. Also, he stocked shelves at a grocery store and he wasn’t doing well on YouTube. So how did he afford shotguns and the shells that he used to do what he did. I feel like we’re missing something.

Matt’s rush to marry Amber

So I’m having a lazy day watching TMOG. I’m watching the episode where Matt and Amber are in Vegas and Matt is pressuring Amber to get married right then and there. And she’s refusing. She talks to her brother. She decides not to. And Matt is flipping the fuck out. Like he’s throwing tantrums calling Amber psycho and saying that she wants to marry her brother because he runs her life. Now I feel like Matt‘s rushing to marry Amber just to get his hands on her money. I feel like he wanted to marry her just so he could divorce her and file for like alimony or spousal support. That way he sits around and collects a check from her every month since she makes more than he does.

Deb The Character vs Deb The Real Person.

Let me start off this by saying I know some people are gonna swear I’m being a Farah apologist. Because apparently, if you say anything about Farah other than trashing her, you’re being an apologist. That’s not what I’m doing here.

So I’m watching an old episode of TM. It’s when Farrah went to visit her parents from Florida with Sophia. I’m convinced that Deb put on an act for the cameras. I don’t think we were seeing the real person. I think we saw this loving mom character. And I think a lot of the attitude that Farrah gave her throughout the show was because she knew it was an act. She knew Deb wasn’t like that off camera. A great example is in season one when Farrah wants to move out and Deb says “well, why would you want to move out baby?” And then open season two with Deb punching Farrah in my face when cameras weren’t around and Farrah legitimately bleeding because of it. There’s even a scene where Ashley, Farrah’s sister, says to Deb, something along the lines of “don’t act nice to me now when you totally ignore me at home.” And I think as the show went on and we got to the TMOG years, Deb used that to her advantage. I think she knew that putting on that act would get a big reaction from Farrah. So she pretends to be nice to make Farrah mad, and then Farrah looks like she’s bullying her mom. Which gets sympathy for Deb from the audience. Just like how Deb will have these fights with Farrah in the later part of the series and then be sobbing to the producer saying “nobody cares about me! I just want to die! Nobody would care if I die!” It’s all an act. It’s all Deb trying to look like this sweet loving mom being bullied by her mean awful daughter to get sympathy and attention.

Has anyone else noticed this?

My dad and I are watching Radar’s last episodes. And we both noticed something. Anyone else notice that Gary Burghoff somehow looked years older in these episodes? I don’t know. His hair looks like it’s thinning a lot more in these episodes than the episode before with the North Korean woman who was prisoner. Klinger talks to Radar on the phone in that episode. He looks very different on that episode. Anyone else notice?

Teen Mom IRL

I found this while cleaning recently. Many years ago, I became friends with social media with another teen mom fan. We lived in the same city at the time. I invited her to my graduation party when I graduated college in 2019. The first picture is the gift she gave me. The second picture is what she wrote on the stuffed dog that my dad got for everyone at my party to write messages on.

OK, I’m confused by something

In season one, when the divorce is final, Reba goes out with her ex-boyfriend Parker Reynolds. And they say basically that that she dumped him and ended up with Brock. But later in the series, they show Reba singing in a bar and dating this guy Terry, who is friends with Brock. And they show Brock and Reba telling Terry that Reba is leaving him to be with Brock. So which is it? Did she leave Parker Reynolds to be with Brock, or did she leave that Terry guy to be with Brock?

Nobody can convince me otherwise

Listening to an old episode of TM2 while I clean. This is after that year long hiatus of filming. Chelsea is whining to Randy about the fact that Adam is having another baby. She’s complaining that she doesn’t like the fact that that baby’s going to be related to Aubree. She said something interesting. She said something about “why do I have to be dragged into this…” But then quickly changed it to Aubree being dragged to this.

I’m convinced, and no one can convince me otherwise, that it’s all about her. The reason she’s upset about the baby and the reason she was trashed his other girlfriends is because it means he moved on from her. I think in her perfect world, he would be crying his eyes out, wishing and begging to be with her. And the fact that he was getting with other women and having another baby proves to her that he’s not doing that. That he can just easily get over her. And I think that’s what bothered her. Also the fact that if he has another girlfriend, and then having another baby means his attention isn’t on her. He’s not trying to get with her. The happiest she seemed to be at this point was when he was writing shit on her Facebook or texting her about wanting to be together. Which is him giving her the attention she wanted from him. And I think in her mind this proves that will never happen again.
