Can i swap handguards on M&P15?

Hey guys, I have an M&P15. It came with a round, M16 style from handguard and an A post front sight. Can i take that sight off & replace it with a normal gas block, and replace that handguard with a quad rail & keep the factory barrel, or will I need to swap the barrel as well?

Hey, I'm fairly new to 3D printing, have a Bambu A1 combo. I was wondering if I could print PLA & PLA silk on the same project out of the AMS.

Thanks

So I used to work at Deere dealers as a small engine tech. I’ve been back in parts for 10 years or so. My last job, our driver wouldn’t warrant anything for me because I had never bought from him. I’m at a different shop now and I needed to get an old screwdriver handle warrantied. Our driver said sure no problem.

luckily she had a red hard handle as I didn’t want a soft grip.

While she was swapping handles, I showed her this. She asked if I had printed it myself and asked how much I wanted for it. I said how about a new hat? She said sure and let me take my pick. She wants to buy a couple more to resell.

got a Bambu A1 a few months ago. I really enjoy printing stuff. A coworker came across a couple makerworld links to something he wanted and asked if I could print them, color didn’t matter. sure no problem. I have a couple rolls of black inland basics pla from Microcenter, always prints fine. One item printed fine, but this little gage block had a real rough corner. It’s only like 14 grams so I printed another. It did the exact same thing. Printer had 200+ hours so I checked and yep some of the 7 screws were loose. I tightened them all up and ran off a 3rd one. It did the exact same thing. I shot him a text and he said he didn’t care, he’d clean it up with some sand paper. Then yesterday morning my mother in law texted me something she found and asked me to print it. I had an unopened roll of inland basics blue pla I knew she would like so i fired it off. It had one rough edge and a little void. I washed the build plate with some dawn plus, dried it well and set it to reprint. Same rough edge, same void in the same spot.

The first 2 pics of the blue item were the fist print. You can see where I sanded down the rough edge. Pics 3,4,&5 are the second attempt. Even the void looks pretty similar. The black block had the same rough edge on all 3 prints.

Clean build plate, not scratched up. The last gage block and the 2 for mom were after tightening the 7 screws. Nozzle temp 220, bed temp 65. Still using the stainless nozzle it came with. Printing direct from the Bambu app on my phone to the printer. Can anyone shed some light. I’ve done a bunch of other stuff with inland basics and never had this issue. Could it just be bad files?

Just as the title says, what's the best hardened nozzle/hot end for an A1 to print Glow in the dark PLA with? I have a couple spools my wife got me off Temu(i think) and I don't want to just toss it. But I also don't want to tear up my printer. And how do I clean the nozzle after using the glow in the dark? Or just let it purge like a normal color change?
