My (F18) girlfriend keeps being jealous about a girl i used to talk (M19) a whole year ago, what should to make this whole situation better for both of us?
We have been together for a while now but recently she mentioned that she keeps feeling cheated on because a WHOLE YEAR AGO i called with this friend i had since i am 14 to hear her venting and i did tell this to my girlfriend and at first she seemed okay with it but now suddenly a whole year after this she comes to me and start crying saying how she cant stand the way i "CHEATED" her and that i have to do something to fix our relationship, i tried to give her reassurance and compliments and say sorry but her reaction is always "But you still did that tho, sorry wont fix anything" and this answer just shuts me down completely and idk what to do, i really did not cheat on her with this girl but she dont wanna believe me
