Several storms rolled through Ottawa, Canada yesterday.

Flooding ensued.

My brother moved into this landlord special. Couldn't figure out how to set up the living room but then we tried the entertainment center in this book.

It fit spectacularly!!

My grandpa bought this spining wheel in the 1920's as an antique in the Eastern Townships, Québec Canada.

It hand crafted and uses uniform nails (squarish). Has visible wear marks.

There are no makers mark anywhere that I can tell.

Can someone tell me what kind of wood it's made of?

Also, I'd love if anyone could give me anymore info on it's origins or pin point it's age better.
