Need advice - Seller refuses to let us do building inspection

Hi All,

Yesterday we signed our contract with owner.

Our offer for 900k on a 3 bed 2 bath, buitl in 2017, in a good suburb, where median price is 1 mil, got accepted.

We were quite aggressive during negotiation and stuck to 900k the whole time.

We planned the building inspection for monday.

There was another open today at 12.30, which went ahaead, as it was paid for by seller.

Around 3 pm we got a call from agent saying that the owner didn't want to have a building inspection and repeating that we didn't mention subject to inspection in contract.

Agent didn't seem to care if we walked away.

We are feeling the owner got cold feet and decided to make us walk away by stopping us from having a building inspection as they might have gotten a better offer after open inspection.

Or there is genuinely something wrong with the house.

We will be in cooling off from Monday and could easily walk away. My guts are telling me the seller is regretting their decision to sell us at 900k and is trying to scare us off.

Thanks if you read this.

Any advice is appreciated.
