Today's lunch break thrift haul. The Wilder box set made my day!
Wasn't expecting to find much, but I'm quite pleased.

Suggestions can include anything scary, sexy, surreal, absurd, and freaky.
Top 4 & recents for reference. Thank you.
Looking for recommendations based on 100 of my favorites, not ranked in any particular way.
I've been watching one film a day this year, and it's been incredibly fun. August started out particularly well, except for my rewatch of Vivarium. Onto Santa Sangre now!

Today I picked up the TNG box set, Contact, and a handful of Criterions from the B&N sale. This is my favorite haul in a long time.
What are we watching? It's your pick.
Friend asked if it was Leon lol. I have a lot to learn.
Thanks for playing along with this random thought experiment. This was the toughest group of characters yet, except for Leland.
Sorry if I didn't include some of your favorite characters. Love you. Be nice.
Everyone was very kind on my last post, and many requested more characters. Please enjoy.
I spent way too long on this, so don't be mean to me; I'll cry.
We bought a house a month ago, and the previous owner left his TV mount. It's in the strangest spot, so I've just been ignoring it.
I'm unsure if I should remove the mount entirely or do something with it. Thoughts?
Picture 2: Where I have placed our television.
Picture 3: Where the previous owner mounted his television.
Rimworld is one of my all-time favorite games on Steam Deck, but I've been too busy to play consistently.
With weeks between sessions, I'll completely forget what my plan was for my colony, what I'm doing, etc. and be forced to start over. Repeat. Ad infinitum.
What are some games like Rimworld that are better suited for casually picking up and putting down, with no need to remember your place or strategy?
- ```Previously Enjoyed Games```: Rimworld. Valheim. The Planet Crafter. Subnautica. Civilization V. Timberborn.
- ```Preferred Genres```: Crafting. Colony sim. Management sim.
- ```Budget```: Whatever.
- ```Other Notes```: Thank you.
(Blade Runner(s) and Suspiria are definitely give-ins.)
Feeling tired of the trend of dull, dearly color correction and dimly lit scenes.
Looking for movies with similar lighting to TOS. Doesn't have to be sci-fi or any specific genre. Just fun to look at.
Mix of Goodwill and the Walmart $5 bin, plus extended LOTR and Obsession as a treat on the side.
Most of my collection is thrifted or second-hand, usually found in the wild be it a Goodwill or used media store. These are my 4 favorites both DVD and blu-ray.
Hi, fellow old people. I'm looking for movies that feel like the Myst computer games. They are puzzle games with isolated settings, pocket worlds you travel to via books, and a lot of mystery.
Grand science fiction designs, multiple worlds, a puzzle to solve. Da Vinci meets computer dreamscape.
Favorite directors are David Lynch, Billy Wilder, Mel Brooks, John Carpenter, F.W. Murnau, Wong Kar-Wai, Ingmar Bergman, John Waters, Spike Lee, and Hitchcock. I've seen most of their work, so you can skip those recommendations.
Thank you!
