Navy Mid-Width tied in a Pratt Knot

I really like ties - I think they are really cool / traditional accessory! I have only just got into wearing them, but don’t have any suits or blazers, I just wear them with chinos or grey trousers.

Ties for Birthday Party

It‘s my brother’s birthday party soon, and he has a formal dress code. It will be in a Manor House. What ties out of these two should I pick, and what advice would you give?

Advice about the motor brackets

In a recent post I made about our new BMW i3 REx, you told me that it was good to check what motor brackets we had. This is because they brand / corrode easily on the old ones. Accord to ChatGPT, were fine as our i3 was made in mid DEC 2015 and BMW changed the bracket part in NOV 2015. is this true!?

New To Me BMW i3 REx

Pictures Above Are From the Dealership

My parents just bought their first BMW i3. It’s a 2015 REx with around 70k miles. With a sunroof! Yay or nay?

Thank you to those who gave kind words about their current X5 and Porsche 911 Situation. They have taken the i3 onboard as a 3rd car!

Hello Reddit!

My parents have considered getting an I3 for nearly a year, it's their favourite car at the moment. However, for some reason they are like 1% unconvinced, and I think that's because they aren't sure what life would be like with one. If some I3 owners could comment here for some information regarding day-to-day life. They live in London FYI, and they currently have a 2017 BMW X5 40e and a 2005 Porsche 911 (which is a money pit...) (We'd replace the 911 with the i3).

I think the issue is that my dad is very attached to his 911, which is why he doesn't want to get rid of it. My mother and I have tried to reason with him many a time, telling him he (at most) only drives it once a week, for 20 minutes, with London's 20mph speed limits.

He definitely would like to move on from the 911, but he is scared of what life would be like without it, which is why I would love if some of you guys could help my mother and I out.

We'd be looking at a sub £9k one, probably a 1st Generation REx, like the one attached. If someone could take a look and tell me if it's good value for money, then that would be great.

Thanks!
