I’m a new Joost fan, I think he has so much potential but a couple of issues I’ve noticed (no hate lol) is how bad his lyrics / writing are. There’s so much potential there but I think he misses the mark by not collaborating with established song writers. I think it would help him not repeat so many words in his songs as well as having better compositions in his lyric structures that could help him express reoccurring themes without it being repetitive. I also think his albums lack sonic cohesiveness. I understand the vibe he’s got going on I know he’s really inspired by scatman, weird Al yankovic, early 2000s/2010s European techno and gabber but I think he needs to make a decision about how ‘serious’ he wants to take his music instead of treating it like a meme. I think he should separate his more internet meme songs and his more legitimate songs. I also think he should also get a better creative director (if he doesn’t have one already). With all this being said for all I know someone could be saying the same thing behind the scenes but ultimately it’s up to the artist to either take or leave the recommendation / advice . What do you guys think?

Firstly, I wonder if the series will end the same way the movie did? But with that being said the set up so far doesn’t point in that direction. Secondly, if the police make the connection between Anna’s voice and the ‘anonymous’ tip her and Tom’s plan will fall apart and possibly end up with either her or him in jail! I also think the set up will be Natalie telling Max about the anonymous tip then he goes on to tell the police they’re trying to conspire against me and possibly Natalie being a key witness against her parents in court. Finally, max may have been telling the truth about Nevaaha not being his daughter, but the series so far points to the opposite being true …the series could take so many different paths !!

I think it’s so funny her team and friends keep trying to push cakes down her throat but there isn’t a single video or picture of her eating let alone putting any of the cakes or cupcakes near her mouth. Her friends need to just get her 51-1-50’d . Period. All this cake nonsense isn’t going to work.

Why didn’t she just start the tour after her new album comes out because it’s very obvious she doesn’t identify with her older songs…

Ik this conversation has been rinsed but I just wanted to give my perspective as someone who has recovered.

If Ariana doesn’t get her anxiety under control she won’t recover. The engine that keeps Ana going is anxious thoughts. Whether they be around food or anything else. Ana creates extreme cognitive distortions, it’s like a parasite that forces you to think in extremes, black and white only. I know she stopped taking anti-depressants but without some sort of psych meds that could tell your mental noise and anxiety as someone with an eating DISORDER, you’ll never be able to control or silence those thoughts. It’s well documented in scientific literature and from experience if I wasn’t forced to take fluoxetine as a teen I wouldn’t ever recover. I was constant back in the hospital after being discharged to become medically stable. Once I took the meds the noise stopped and I was finally able to think more clearer. This helped my recovery immensely. With that being said, I also sought out a trained psychologist for therapy and saw a certified Dietian. I was also in contact with other girls that were focused on recovery. I was first hospitalised in 2015 (14yrs) for 7 months and finally in 2020 I was mentally recovered. Covid was definitely a set back but thankfully I was mentally healthy enough to realise I was relapsing and reach out to my doctor for guidance. I also switched to escitalopram (lexapro) in 2022 that helped a lot too, don’t be afraid to ask for help if you feel like your meds aren’t making u feel any better. Anyways, I have a lot of compassion and sympathy for Ari, I can only imagine how hard it is to be so famous , have young girls and boys look up to you, emulate you, idolise you bht you just want intended to sing, and share your music with fans, now you’re stuck in a predicament where everyone is talking about your body (everyone with an ED worst nightmare, even though many are just expressing concern) and you’re trying to uphold personal boundaries as a public figure with the worlds eyes on you….i feel for her and I hate that she has so many enablers around her. When I was at my worst my parents (even my dad whom I didn’t have the best relationship with) went out of their ways to get me help. Without their love and concern I’d be dead today. I wish she had that concern and love for her welfare too. I wish her a speedy recovery. I know it’s usually a long journey with lots of ups and downs but I think a nice start would be cancelling the tour ….
