Shortened backstory is I’ve had a nonstop period/spotting since January. Beginning of June i started taking flaxseed oil capsules and within an hour, all bleeding stopped. I ran out and haven’t gotten more in about two weeks and it started again

Slightly more detailed backstory is I’m not been officially diagnosed but speaking to several other people on here and they say i most likely have PCOS/PMOS. I’ve always had an irregular period, usually going months without having one then super heavy for a week then another few months without one

December 2025 i got food poisoning and when it was finally over with was when I started nonstop bleeding/spotting

I guess I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this and knows how to— fix it?

Middle of May I started having chia seeds to get more fiber in my diet and generally get healthier. Started off small with a teaspoon soaked overnight just in water, drinking it along with breakfast in the morning

The start of June i had my regular breakfast and the chia water and at some point in the day I got the worst stomach pain I’ve ever had. I thought it was the different bag of chia i got, (first small bag from stater bros, second large bag from Walmart) but my sister is also drinking it with no problem

I’ve tried changing my routine and having it at different times in the day, mixing it with yogurt, and having them ground up but it doesn’t seem to matter when or how I have them. It’s just instant pain now

Wondering if anyone knows why I suddenly can’t have it at all when I was able to have it with no issues at the start

30yrs old, not sexually active, not on any medication or birth control, not pregnant

As the title says, I’ve had an ongoing period since January. It’s been pretty standard, not super light or super heavy, but I’ve been seeing lots of blood clots both tiny and large. I’m not really feeling any cramps and it’s really more annoying than anything, but this is by far the longest I’ve ever had one. Not to say I’ve had regular cycles in the past; sometimes it was once a month, sometimes only four a year

I’ve done basic research on why this could be happening and, I could definitely be wrong, but it’s pointing to either PCOS or thyroid issues

I can’t afford insurance and I don’t have a regular doctor/obgyn which is why I’m asking about it here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar
