I knew the RR vs GT result before match
Last evening, I was at a salon for a head massage. The barber was watching the GT vs RR match, and RR was playing really well. Vaibhav was batting brilliantly.
Then the barber's friend came into the shop and asked him when he would close because he wanted to go eat something with him. The barber replied that only one haircut was remaining.
Then the barber said, "I think RR will be in the final today. Vaibhav is playing really well."
His friend replied, "Nope, GT will be in the final. Bahut andar ki khabar hai. Agar paisa lagana chahta hai to laga de, jitne ho sakte hain."
After that, he left the shop.
When my head massage was finished, I asked the barber, "Vo kya bolkar gaye, andar ki khabar hai?"
The barber replied, "Vo in sab kaam mein hai, usko pata hota hai."
Both the barber and his friend looked young, around 23–24 years old.
I'm not saying the match was fixed, but I found the conversation strange, especially considering how confident his friend was about GT reaching the final while RR was dominating at that point.
