Hi all

30m here, I mostly play single player games due to time, kids, etc but I always love to see a bustling friends list with people online playing and also I enjoy comparing trophies or achievements with fellow achievement/Trophy hunters.

I’m on Xbox Series X and PS5. My GT is: Invictus4318 if anyone wants to add me, or if you drop yours below I’ll add you guys.

I’m currently playing TLOU P2 on PS and looking forward to AC: Black Flag and GTA VI.

My brother lied to my fiancée about me having a lap dance in a strip club two days before our wedding

We were in Ibiza for my wedding, all of my friends and family and all of my now wife’s friends and family. I had a stag do night out with all my friends, my father in law, my dad and my brother. The drinks were flowing and everyone wanted to go to a strip club. Myself and one of my friends who is also in a long term relationship both said we will enter but only to have drinks in the bar (strictly no lap dances) - and that is exactly how our time there went. All the other lads had lap dances (and other things) but we all left and continued the boozy night out.

The next day, by the pool at the hotel. My fiancée stormed into the bar where I was getting a drink in floods of tears calling me all the names under the sun for having a lap dance. I said I haven’t had one and she said that my brother had just told her by the pool in-front of everyone that I had a lap dance with “t*ts in my face” last night. I promised her this wasn’t true and walked straight across to my brother in-front of everyone and confronted him - to which he bare face lied and denied ever saying this to my fiancée - he was actively denying this in-front of maybe 4 people who heard him.

I’ve never trusted him ever since. I’m sure he was actively trying to ruin my wedding day or even attempting to get my wife to call it off. What do you guys think? Should I keep him at arms length moving forward?

Hey guys. What’s with all the negativity around gaming these days?

I’m 30m, a husband and father - I’ve been gaming for most of my life. Started on the PS2, then moved to OG XBOX, then 360. Then took a long break from gaming (approx 9 years) then bought a Series X in 2023, and then added a PS5 to my collection in 2025.

I love gaming. Me and my 4 year old son have daddy and son gaming night every Saturday. He plays Minecraft on his Switch 2 whilst I play something on either one of my consoles. I look forward to it every week and it gets me through the shitty days at work.

My question is, what’s with all the negativity around gaming these days? Every time I look online it’s “Xbox is dead” or “PS is dead” “woke” “this game sucks” “moan moan moan”

Does anyone actually enjoy gaming anymore? Is it just a social media problem? I can’t remember any of this back in the good old days, but was that because we didn’t have access to social media to air our dirty laundry for everyone to read?
