Original Price: This was gifted to me by an ex, so I don't know exactly what exactly he paid since Cartier increases prices a few times a year, but verified it was purchased at the Cartier store on December 19, 2022. It currently retails for $2,830. I do not have the receipt for this exact necklace since it was a gift, but did buy myself the exact same one as a replacement so that it is not from my ex (lol) and will attach the receipt for that one (purchased yesterday May 21, 2026). The authentication certificate does have the purchase date and serial number and any official Cartier store can verify that information.

Selling Price : $1,600

Condition: I think it's in very good condition. I've worn it almost everyday for 3.5 years so it's not brand new, but it looks great to me and the clasp works like new.

Hey everyone! I am looking around at online resale marketplaces to try and sell my 3.5 year old yellow gold love necklace. I've got the original box and the authentication papers which I am hoping will help a bit, but not sure where to look to get the best value.

It currently retails for just over $2,800 and id love to take home around $1600 - does this seem possible/reasonable?

I've been looking into TheRealReal, Worthy, Ebay, etc. and wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with any of these sites or any others and if you think my take home goal is realistic? Also curious if anyone knows more about how the prices are set on resale sites? Do they pick a price for me, or do I decide what I am comfortable with and let them know?

Would love any advice/direction that anyone has to offer! Not interested in selling to a local jewelry store - already got a couple quotes and they seemed pretty low compared to what I am seeing online.
