Morning boys, quick one here. I have a 2004 Targa I just finished rebuilding and bringing back from CoPart hell. Love the stock aero thingy that comes up at 70mph. I have seen some people using a ducktail (Fixed), or some other contraptions like the 911 SC engine cover some people have where it’s a custom cover w holes in it (Sleeperes in Orange County makes some). Quick thoughts as I love the shape and body, but is there anything you would recommend so this car looks even better than stock? Thanks!

Ok guys I just came back from a drive - I need some guidance or I will go crazy.

New thermostat and waterpump in a 97 986. I love it. I installed 996 gauges to have oil pressure and battery, everything works.

Now, today I plugged my odb reader to track my coolant temp and i was getting between 215 to 221 F on the screen (live read) not crazy revving (maybe a bit) bit mostly 60 to 75 mph.

I want to think that feels a bit hot. Im
Not sure how much I can trust the gauges as they come from a 99 996, so I am wondering:

-Should I check low speed fans tomorrow w the durametric tool and see when they engage?

-Should I check something else? The temp never went higher than 221

-could the coolant tank sensor be faulty?
