just a little inspiration for anyone with short awkward length locs looking for an easy enough and cheap way to do twist extensions! I used springy Afro twist hair but I will use something fuller, like Cuban twist hair, next time. I just braided the hair with my loc part of the way down and then twisted the rest. It takes some practice but can last a while, though I haven’t gone longer than two weeks with this style so I can still wash and maintain my locs, but to each their own! (Don’t braid too tight and make sure to wash well before installing)
So close to closing the gap on this beautiful MCC 5x. I’ve been seriously enjoying this experience and know now (for certain) that I want to make corsets a part of my daily wardrobe! The compression feels so nice and the waist snatchery is next level 🤩

I finally (correctly) ordered my first corset from Mystic City Corsets. I have chosen the MCC 5X as my initial pick. Does anyone else have this corset? I’d love to hear your thoughts/see what it looks like on an actual person as I can’t find too much about it online.
I got so excited ordering my first true corset from MCC on Etsy that I ordered the wrong size🤦🏾♀️ I am hoping to get a refund and purchase the right size but I may have jumped in too soon. I have a 33-34” natural waist so I chose that size and now I’m realizing I need a size 28? This is all so exciting and a little confusing 😅
Not sure how I feel?? Is it my color or no? There’s something about it I love (it’s so “groovy” to me, idk how else to describe it) but….it’s so orange? Like it doesn’t look like an “orangey” orange but like actual expensive orange velvet fabric from maybe the 70’s…y’all see what I’m trying to say? This color is doing something to my brain but I think I like it 😵💫

The last picture is from day 1 (I started/maintain them myself) I combined not too long ago to make them thicker. Can’t wait for some more length 😭
