No Option to Install

I've used Airalo for years, but recently I've bought sims for Luxembourg and Italy and on both occasions the install or share option hasn't given me the option to install, just a QR code to share the sim which I obviously can't scan with my own phone...

The Luxembourg sim I ended up logging into Airalo on my laptop to scan the QR code, but the sim never worked. Now I suspect the Italy sim I've bought also won't work... (so that's £24 down the drain) my phone is currently in airplane mode/VPN due to some issues with people hacking accounts. However I've tried this with the VPN and airplane mode off as well... why am I not seeing an option to install? I can't even manually install because my phone still requires me to scan a QR code...

Been Hacked... Now what?

My account has been hacked and I'm kinda confused. Someone has got into my account and while I can change my account password it gives me a link, but then I put the new password in and whoever got into my account changed the associated number, so now I can't enter the security code... because after entering a new password it insists on sending a code to the changed number...

Last year my Islanders and this year the Maple Leafs won the draft lottery to cries of it being rigged. At the moment the draft lottery is used as a bulwark to stop tanking that is blighting the NBA.

But why doesn't the NHL look into the Gold Plan? The PWHL have adopted it.

The Gold Plan was devised by a university student called Adam Gold (I believe... I wrote about this year's ago and I've forgotten a lot of the specifics). But the general idea is that a team can start accruing draft points as soon as they're mathematically eliminated. So for instance, the Canucks this year were eliminated March 23rd, while the Leafs weren't technically eliminated until April 3rd. That would have given the Canucks 13 games to accrue points (they scored 8 points in that time - but that's under the old format which makes a hokey comparison - same as talk about a 3-2-1 points system when teams aren't playing that system) meanwhile the Leafs only had 7 games to accrue points in which they scored - 0.

In the Gold Plan system Vancouver would draft first as the idea is you incentivize teams to try and win right to the end.

One counter argument would be teams tanking from the start of the season to move their elimination point forward... but is any team, coach or group of players ever going to do that? Most of the worst teams to ever play were first season expansion teams and even the first year Capitals were playing for pride. And, you still need to generate ticket revenue.

One things is for sure, just tinkering with the odds is never going to satisfy anyone but we also don't need teams rolling out AHL lineups to try and finish last.
