tiny bug in bathroom

For context I live in Colorado Springs. I found this guy dead in the bathroom. At first I thought it was an ant but the body shape isn’t really consistent with what I usually see? It almost has a more wasp-like body. I am a little concerned because I’ve been told we have velvet ants in this area. It doesn’t quite look like that but then again, it’s very small so I’m not sure what they looks like as babies. Please tell me if I’m overreacting 😂🫪🫪

Marriage counseling

My husband (28M) and I (24F) have just started counseling. There are some things we don’t quite see eye to eye on. Some issues with our communication & insecurities.

After our first session, the therapist recommended we read The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work by John Gottman. We’ve started reading it together.

So far the couple of sessions we’ve done seemed to go well, the book is good so far, and we’ve had a lot of good conversations but similarly to the past I can’t let go of the worry that these improvements are temporary & we’ll slip back into complacency.

Any tips on how to make the most of counseling & turning what we learn into lasting changes?
