This may be a dumb question but…. My helper at work got a ticket for 91 in a 60 from a trooper this morning. She didn’t get cited for reckless, just 25+ over. She’s a mechanic and could lose her job and maybe her car if insurance rates go crazy. She already went to defensive driving school in 2022 to reduce points.

Is there a chance that the judge will deny her eligibility to go to defensive driving school again? We’re trying to decide if it’s worth it to hire a lawyer. If DDS is a slam dunk, we won’t lawyer up.

It’s unbelievable at my shop. Im beginning to suspect that half the cars are written up for trans complaints. It’s only me and my helper.

“Standard” is 5.5k front and 12k rear. This will be too soft. I was thinking 8k/16k. Any thoughts on going all the way to 18k rear?
