Dog Fatigue Is Out Of Control.
ESA'S, and pets have no business in public, and a lot of people need to accept that. These are just some of the videos you can find on social media of entitled dog owners. I don't know when it became socially acceptable to bring dogs to things like restaurants, grocery stores, malls, just everywhere basically. When it's against the law.
Only service animals are allowed in non-pet friendly places. https://www.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/
You don't even need to look on social media to see people being irresponsible with their dogs. Just step outside! For example, it's the 4th of July today, so I went to fireworks last night. Someone had a livestock guardian breed they were dragging around on a non-pet-friendly beach. This poor dog had its tail tucked, trying to run away, was full-blown jumping at any little sound, and panting like crazy. As this was happening, the person was letting random strangers pet the dog. This person, without a doubt, traumatized their dog. I'd say 90% of dogs do not like fireworks, so why bring them? The same goes for the grocery store in the video that border collie was so scared of all the commotion in the store it jumped on the lettuce that was most likely still sold for people to eat.
Bringing your pet into non-pet-friendly places does NOT make you a better owner. You could be causing unnecessary stress to your pet, risking service dog owners by causing their dog to miss an alert by letting your dog bark at everything that moves. Or worse, your dog could attack a real service dog and cost that disabled person a medical tool and thousands of dollars. Also, let's not forget it's a health code violation, so you're risking the health of others.

So for the last time, just leave your pets at home. I don't care if this is a hot take, there's other people in the world other than you. Bringing your pet is for your own selfish enjoyment your dog floofy dosen't care about going to walmart.
