Helpful suggestions on how to grow Peshawar Whites in varying climates.2025 grow

I originally purchased the seeds from The Plant Good Seed Company and still do because I believe tðèhey are the best. Im in zone 5 which is a very different climate then where they are grown and harvested. So making adjustments i believe is crucial. They grow indww1 èoors better than any strain ive tried and wanted to try outdoors as well. If you notice there are humidity domes next cmto them. This is because ive found they do exceptionally well in cooler temps just as they advertise. I grow them for roughly a month indoors and transplant them outdoors either at the late stages of frost or 2 weeks after the last frost. The humidity dome helps with protecting them from frost as well as them getting acclimated to their environment and is slowly removed with the increasing temps..Doing this has given me very healthy and robust plants but only early in the season. They average 3-5 blooms per plant and are extremely large and filled to the brim with breadseeds. These are from 2025 and this years grows are nearly exactly the same proving that The Plant Good Seed does the best harvesting of this strain consistentlu

Open discussion: De-mythologizing the "Izmir" and "Galania" lineage. To the specialty seed community and its vendors.......please read more

As curators of heirloom Papaver somniferum genetics, you all play a vital role in preserving rare landraces and beautiful phenotypes for modern gardeners. However, looking deeply into the documented history of the Izmir Oil & Spice Company, there is a massive contradiction between the botanical science of these plants and the marketing claims that have been copied and pasted across the internet for the last 30 years.

I would love to open a transparent, friendly discussion to clear up a few historical and genetic myths regarding the Galania and Afghan Special lines:

Danish Flag vs ChineseGMO aka Pink flame. Read more for full explanation

I cant even tell you how many times ive grown both and they've been nearly impossible to tell apart. However the Chinese GMO typically has 3 shell on the pod/flower that instead of getting soft and fall off they will get a little hard and almost crispy. The flower will in a way push through. Now I already know someone will try to argue the "genetics" with me however these are very well documented appearing in Afghanistan around 2015 by Chinese nationals in hopes of getting 3-4 harvests a year instead of 1-2. Here's a few pictures that show what im mentioning. The last 2 pictures are of a Danish Flag. I want to mention that the Danish had more frills on the pedals when we had temps in the 90°s. When it got back to the 80°s they became more of a standard looking Danish. None were a mutant variety or anything even close. They were just affected by the heat. Thank you for reading.

FREE POPPY STARTER KIT FROM JIZZMOR PLEASE READ

Be the next seed start up company with the all new Parasite Poppy Seed Starter Kit. There's 5 rather non unique strains that we wont bother mentioning because in order to be A Parasitic Poppy Vendor one must make up names for them anyhow. You'll first want to create a fascinating back story about yourself and your new strains. Remember people arent just buying easily sourced seeds. They are paying for 20 years of experience that you dont have. But with the PP'S Kit you will suddenly find the confidence to claim this and much more. But don't listen to me. Hear what our loyal customers have to say;

Carl-I was injured in 2012 while on a Call of Duty deployment. What helped my recovery the most was becoming a Poppy Seed vendor. I was able to fulfill my dream of pretending to be someone im not. I love PP"s.

Fisty-My boyfriend from Myanmar had diplomatic immunity. Most people smuggle narcotics, precious gems etc. I said "Hell no...lets smuggle Poppy seeds." There's no way I could have created such a ridiculous and unbelievable story without P.P.'s. Im not happy unless i have a firm grip on PPs in each hand

Bot-Being a Bot im unable to experience human consciousness. My world is limited to roaming obscure reddit communities to promote only my humans flawed logic and mental health issues. I know my creator is a beat off that scams people however he gives me life so im in a bit of a pickle. I only wish I could experience what it feels like to grow a plant but sadly I can't. However if I was to experience the human condition I would surely start with a PP.

Still not convinced? Here's some names our customers have invented that could not possibly be real.

Sweaty mexican fire balls.

One eyed Asian SOB

Double Dutch Buddha in my Butt

Geesh Pradesh white

And finally you will master the words "genetics and pharma." You will even use it despite never being able to prove it. How retarded is that?!?! All this and more can only be accomplished once you decide that being a scumbag is your goal in life.

*all seeds correspond with the plant pictured. Its important to organize your scamming

Seed collection without having to dry on the plant

3 varieties were collected. Hungarian Blue, Pink Flame and Hens and Chicks. Each had dropped their pedals on average by 3-4 weeks. I clipped the stem approximately 6"-12" below the pod and burnt the end of the stem to carterize (sic) the end. I then placed each of the averaged sized varieties near a fan for a day. The pods were still soft and this helped dry them faster. I opened each pod the next day and this was the amount I collected. I will say if I let them dry longer i often will get a larger return in seeds. Too be clear im no expert in seed collection and can not give accurate germination rates however i have never had an issue preserving and later using the seeds I harvested to grow future plants. I hope this helps with anyone who might have questions
