I’m currently studying at GIKI and want to bring a fridge from Karachi (KHI) to GIKI.
Has anyone here brought a fridge or any other large appliance from Karachi to GIKI before? If so, how did you transport it?
I’m mainly looking for a reliable cargo or transport service that can handle a fridge safely. If anyone has a cargo company’s contact number or has personally used one for this route, please share it.

Hi everyone,
I’m in a bit of a dilemma and would really appreciate some honest advice from people who have studied at NUST or GIKI.
Here is my situation:
I have an admission offer for GIKI BS Management Sciences (MGS).
My NUST Business & Social Sciences merit position is 2116, so getting BBA or Accounting & Finance or economics is very unlikely.
Realistically, if I get into NUST, it will probably be one of these:
BS Public Administration
BS Psychology
BS Mass Communication
BS Liberal Arts & Humanities
BS Tourism & Hospitality Management (NBS)
My long term goal is to join and eventually expand my father’s auto parts import business, not necessarily work a corporate job.
I’m trying to decide between:
GIKI BS Management Sciences
NUST BS Tourism & Hospitality Management
NUST Social Sciences (Public Administration, Psychology, Mass Communication, Liberal Arts)
My questions are:
Which option would prepare me better for running a family business?
Is GIKI MGS considered a stronger business degree than NUST Tourism & Hospitality Management?
If you had to choose between NUST Public Administration and GIKI MGS, which would you pick and why?
Does the NUST brand outweigh studying a more business focused degree at GIKI?
For someone who wants to build a business rather than pursue government or media careers, which option would you recommend?
I’d especially appreciate responses from current students, alumni, or anyone who has experience with these programs.

How’s the degree overall in terms of:
• Quality of teaching
• Campus life and environment
• Internship and job opportunities
• Networking and societies
• Value compared to other universities in Pakistan

Also, do Management Science students at GIKI get good exposure and career growth, or is GIKI mainly strong for engineering?
