The park was losing interest in Dinos and Claire says that every new species helps bring interest back to the park.
Instead of creating multiple new species that they can release gradually, they created one hybrid out of like 50 different animals.
Was it because of the military thing the franchise has going on or was the Indominus the thing they were trying to sell to the public to get interest into hybrids. We know they planned on making a stegoceratops and another one.

Loid could have easily gotten out of his situation hes in if he just told Yor that he isnt feeling well and that he wants her to take him home. Yor would have immediately taken him home and she has more power over Yuri so he wouldn't argue for long.
Unfortunately, this stressed overworked man decided to whisper to Yor that them being there risk their fake marriage instead of just asking her to take him home. His biggest fumbled this chapter.
Yor litterly kicked out Yuri out of their home because Loid was tired despite Yuri also being injured. She cares about him but Loid doesn't want to acknowledge it or is in denail about it.
