Wtf! Even the coreless motor itself is 10x cheaper.

Wtf! Even the coreless motor itself is 10x cheaper.

I see a lot of smaller parts are costlier than the usual sizes. Even for screws , it sometimes costs 2k rs. Why is this? Don't tell that it's because of the import duty.

Weather and my Spotify playlist 👻

Was driving down a wide open road yesterday. The sky was completely normal, and then out of nowhere, the clouds just flipped dark, almost like a chameleon changing its color. Right as it happened, my Spotify put on 'Thulli Thulli Thulli Mazhayai Vanthale' 🎶

It’s just weird how often this happens. In certain places or during certain weather changes, the shuffle always manages to pick a song that fits a bit too well. Honestly thought about getting out of the car just to walk around with my headphones on 😶.

KSRTC ride that changed my mind 🚌

So I usually just take my cab to commute cuz it’s convenient for me and helps me save fuel costs. Unfortunately, I missed the cab this evening as I was already running late to leave the office.

So I ended up taking the KSRTC bus back from Kazhakkoottam. I managed to get a side seat.. honestly… it’s been ages since I travelled Kazhakkoottam to East Fort Road by KSRTC.

The FM in the bus was playing “Onnam Ragam Paadi”. Mahnn...i felt the beauty of Trivandrum at that moment.. Like, that 90s music and the cool dry breeze. the weather was perfect for the song, and it brought back so many childhood memories (im genz onli). I was getting nostu adikkal without even trying.

I used to prefer being single, but this vibe made me think again , like what if there is a person whom I can enjoy these little silly things with.

But entheyyann, innathe kaalathe relationshipsinonnum oru depth illa 🙂.

Is Joining an Early-Stage Startup Still Worth It in the AI Era?

I have 2 years of experience and currently work at a service-based company.

I've received an offer to join a VC-backed early-stage startup as a founding engineer. Normally I'd be excited, but with AI changing things so quickly, I'm having second thoughts.

Products seem easier than ever to build, competition appears overnight, and many people are saying traditional SaaS is becoming harder to defend.

For those working in startups today, would you still make that jump? What makes a startup worth betting on in 2026?

Where can I buy silicon steel sheets for making motor stators?

I'm trying to build a custom BLDC motor for a robot, around 80 mm diameter, as a prototype. Buying a motor with similar specifications would cost anywhere from tens of thousands to even lakhs of rupees, so I'm trying to build one as cheaply as possible, ideally around ₹1,000 for the initial prototype. My plan was to make the stator core by stacking stamped silicon steel laminations. The problem is that most motor stamping manufacturers I found on IndiaMART only accept bulk production orders, while I only need a small quantity for prototyping.
