Undertale/Deltarune attempt

Critique/advice welcome, I struggled a bit with it lol. Still proud of how it came out! Been taking a break from ambigrams recently so this was to get back into it. I’m very fond of the AR/ER part in the middle, that was a really fun part to design

Not a teacher yet, but I will be one. Looking for tips

Hi everyone! I have gotten accepted into the study to become a teacher and I’ll start after the summer break. I’m looking for advice, especially from neurodivergent teachers: I have ADHD and autism, plus dyspraxia. Fairly high functioning but wouldn’t mind general tips either way

In specific I’m looking for tips on names (I’m practicing, but remembering them is still a struggle), overstimulation after work (during I can usually handle, it’s when I get back home), and how important ‘typical’ presentation is (think fidgeting, eye contact, all of that. I don’t per se want to set the example that those are necessary, a huge part in me being a teacher is to be a support for kids like I was)

I appreciate any advice given! Have a lovely day

Article vs no article

I was under the impression that possessive adjectives (barring singular family nouns?) needed an article with them, so is there a reason this one doesn’t?

Want to get back into reading, help

Title! I miss being able to just dive into a book and be fully immersed. It was my favorite thing to do as a kid and a younger teen, but I fell down the typical school forcing you to read books pipeline and I have not truly read for my own pleasure in like 3 years, which is a little depressing to look back on.

I like fantasy or SciFi as favorites, but I’m open to a lot of new genres! Bonus points if characters are queer, autistic, or implied to be (less common, but if anyone has recs I will get on my knees to thank you, characters with OCD or dyspraxia). I like character-driven stories, the characters are the most important to me (I LOVE being able to obsess over characters lmao) but I don’t want the plot to be fully internal, if that makes sense (an example would be Confrontations by Simone Atangana Bekono)

I don’t mind sex, I dislike smut. No sex for the sake of sex, please. Romance is entirely fine (welcomed if it’s queer as well) but I’m looking for it to not be the main focus. Open to change my mind if you have some really good recs! No huge preference for series or standalones, but I have noticed series tend to hit more of my preferences.

Please tell me a little bit about books if you recommend any, a little bit what’s it about and why it’s fun! (If you want, I can also yap about any of the books on my list in return lmao)

Books I’ve liked or loved were: The Hunger Games, the Nyxia Trilogy, Victories Greater Than Death, Wings of Fire, Warrior Cats (first two series, mainly), The Spirit Bares Its Teeth, Hell Follows With Us, the Martian, the Poppy Wars, Percy Jackson (also mainly the first two arcs), Shadow and Bone (and Six of Crows)

Is there a rule to verbs ending in -ire adding “isc” to the conjugation?

I’ve been learning Italian via onlineitalianclub.com (seems to work nice as well! It’s free without ads which is DELIGHTFUL and it feels like a typical textbook with exercises and explanations) and currently at verb conjugations. There’s a lot of them, but they do seem consistent except for the verbs ending in -ire. I’m expecting and prepared for this to be memorization, but if there is a rule, I’d love to know!

Hi, first post in here so I apologize if something’s off! I’m moving from the city to the countryside (Netherlands) and the previous owners have/had chickens (5 hens and one rooster). They’re teaching us the basics and my dad used to have chickens like. 50 years ago so we’re not going in fully blind, but I’d like to prepare myself as much as possible. I’m reading up on chicken care as much as I can, and I thought this might be a good place to ask as well!

I’m decently sure they’re Australorp chickens, and they’re fairly docile and well-behaved (the rooster responds to his name when his previous owner called him, and they’re all good with me waltzing around next to them) and they’re free-reign (I think that’s the right word? They have a huge part of the garden to walk in and they have a coop). We’re as far as I know not planning on hatching eggs. I really like these ‘little’ guys so far and I want to make sure they feel as cared for as they can, so any help’s appreciated!
